Great selection a quality Burmese food.

We always enjoy this place and love to take people from out of town here. The Brussels Sprouts are killer-like fried candy! The Tuna Ceviche is so good we almost got more for dinner Our other delicious starters were the Duck Lettuce Cups, the Tea Leaf Salad and the veggie spring rolls. Great... read more

This review comes in very late, we went with my mil and a friend in august 2014. Our 4 month old was entertained by the busy restaurant and thus allowed us to enjoy the scrumptious dishes we had ordered. Fish in a curry, veg stir fry, dessert, chicken everything was so so so good!!!!

Super good food every time I go. The tea Leaf salad, the samousa soup and we had some spicy beef thingy that was just killer. Go. You will not regret it.

A hunt for Burmese food led us to Superstar. A daunting wait led us down the street to their sister restaurant B Star. Hands down, this was the best food we ate while in the city and we're still thinking about it! We sat at the bar with Donald and he was polite, efficient and helpful. Our appetizers were incredible,... More

So we thought we were going to burma superstar, but this is a different place right down the street. Really good lunch, Burmese soup to start, and I had kau soi noodles, which I highly recommend. Full of complex flavors. Partner had lamb curry, which was good but not outstanding. When we walked down the street, there were about 20... More

If you like the original Burma Super Star you will definitely enjoy this place. Located down the road from Burma Super Star this place has quite the ambiance without the crowds. Food quality and service are excellent. Would highly recommend.

Let's skip the superlatives. Order: The Tea Leaf Salad: it will knock your socks off and you'll return to order it again. The "Bread" (like nan) arrives with curry Dipping Sauce The Chicken Satay (2 strips) Spring Rolls (3) Our waiter, Derek, introduced us to the Dessert: Warm Black Sticky Rice with the best "Vanilla Ice cream: concoction avec strawberries... Visited B Star with family a few weeks ago. Like most of the restaurants in the area, B Star re-opened at 5:30. Unlike the others, it was pretty happening 15 minutes later. The menu was very strong...lots of rice, lots of interesting tastes, and an excellent happy hour menu. The Lotus Chips, Butternut Squash Soup, and Satay Bites stick out... More

We wanted to go to Burma Super Star but it was closed and they sent us down the street to B Star their sister restaurant. I was not at all sad because I had one of the best meals I have ever had in San Francisco. Everything is so fresh and tasty and the price very reasonable. I started with... More

The menu is so original, tea leaves salad for example. Five or six different kinds of tea, one more original than the other. I tried the Dragon white tea, if I remember well. The spices exotic. All what I tried there so far was delicious and ... different. And the price? Very affordable. The staff is friendly, the place very... More
