I had dinner here with my family and another family. We had Roti Pratha, Beef Rendang, Garlic Noodle chicken, mussels, steamed fish, Char Kway Teow and Sambal Mix Okra/Green. Everything was very good. The owner came by to make sure we had a good meal. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed some Asian pancakes and noodles here recently. Sauce is delicious and the menu is pretty long.

Check out 292nd location: Clement Street 1/2 block from Walgreens. For those crave for Singaporean food style but also good mussel dish and good Beef stew soup (Surabaya /city of East Java,Indonesia) and either shrimp or okra spicy dish with shrimp paste/balachan.

Very authentic S.E. Asian food. I've lived there and can attest to it. The owner is a detail stickler and everything came out right.

This is almost one of the hole in the wall finds. The food has flavor and the portions are perfect to generous. The menu is simple which does not take away from the quality of the taste. We ordered 5 different dishes and every one was delicious. The two specials were worth it. I hear the crap is a delight.... More

So my husband and I live in SF and are on an Asian Food Quest. We've been to about five different places so far, five different countries' cuisines. Having a toddler along for the ride, our best option is either a noisy quick place or just taking the whole deal to Golden Gate Park and having a picnic so he... More

Everyone knows there are great Asian restaurants in San Francisco, Chinese places topping the list. But the Lime Tree brings together the best of Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Three distinct cuisines that share many similarities. The Char Kway Teow stir-fried noodles are as good as you will find at any street stall in Singapore. And try their Roti... More

Tried the new branch (there are two in San Francisco). Loved the food (fresh and tasty) and friendly service. Simple, clean place. We would definitely come back when we visit SF again.

Not to expensive and good food. If you love all things bread, try their Roti - a flatbread (home made). They serve it with Curry sauce. This alone is worth a visit.

I had a hard time finding this place because it is below the street level with a faded sign outside. Usually there is a line if you go during meal time because there are very few tables. I love their corn fritters, the texture is quite unique. Roti Pratha and potato cake are worth to try for appetizers. For the... More
