We came to California for our anniversary last week. Being from the south, I really wanted to eat at authentic San Francisco/California restaurants while we were in town. I had read about this place and since In-N-Out Burger was closed on Easter Sunday we headed...there as soon as we landed at SFO. We had never been to a dim sum restaurant before so the ordering procedures were foreign to us but the owner brought us a dinner menu with pictures and that helped a lot. We had the pot stickers, the veggie egg rolls, and the Shanghai dumplings and everything was amazing and delicious. The prices were good and you get a lot with each order. Great service too, even though the waitresses speak limited English. After leaving here we headed to Napa, then Yosemite, then Pebble Beach, and we ate at some great restaurants along the way, but my wife loved Dim Sum Club so much that she wanted to go there again when we got back to San Francisco. Be aware that there's a lot of construction on Van Ness right now and the Da Vinci Villa Hotel is permanently closed but don't let that stop you. That just meant that we were able to park right out front both times we went. We drove through Chinatown on the way to our hotel and it was a little crazy down there with all of the traffic and people and signs that we couldn't read. Dim Sum Club is a great place to get authentic Chinese food without having to actually navigate Chinatown which made it great for tourists like us.More
