We came to California for our anniversary last week. Being from the south, I really wanted to eat at authentic San Francisco/California restaurants while we were in town. I had read about this place and since In-N-Out Burger was closed on Easter Sunday we headed...there as soon as we landed at SFO. We had never been to a dim sum restaurant before so the ordering procedures were foreign to us but the owner brought us a dinner menu with pictures and that helped a lot. We had the pot stickers, the veggie egg rolls, and the Shanghai dumplings and everything was amazing and delicious. The prices were good and you get a lot with each order. Great service too, even though the waitresses speak limited English. After leaving here we headed to Napa, then Yosemite, then Pebble Beach, and we ate at some great restaurants along the way, but my wife loved Dim Sum Club so much that she wanted to go there again when we got back to San Francisco. Be aware that there's a lot of construction on Van Ness right now and the Da Vinci Villa Hotel is permanently closed but don't let that stop you. That just meant that we were able to park right out front both times we went. We drove through Chinatown on the way to our hotel and it was a little crazy down there with all of the traffic and people and signs that we couldn't read. Dim Sum Club is a great place to get authentic Chinese food without having to actually navigate Chinatown which made it great for tourists like us.More

Huge menu, good food, fast service. Grateful to the manager who put the brakes on when our kids tried to order 8 plates of shrimp dumplings on the check sheet.

Dropped by for a quick bite on a Monday night and was not disappointed! We tried all the dim sum and it was filling and fantastic. Also I must mention that the service was great and we were overall impressed with the whole experience. This...is not a fancy restaurant but perfect for what it is. We had the sesame balls for dessert and they were wonderful. Not too sweet and a unique flavor. Highly recommend.More

We went here on Christmas based on TripAdvisor reviews. Someone had raved about the short ribs, so we ordered them. They were the worst we have ever had, full of fat and bones. However, the siu mai, the Shanghai dumplings and the shrimp and Thai...dumplings were good. Be careful ordering. The staff was sweet.More

Overall the food here is really good. It Is NOT the perfect location inside. It is a step up from your take out Chinese place at home and that’s about it. Don’t expect cloth napkins and fine silverware. Soda is given to you as a...can with a glass of ice. The wait staff is a little low on the English but they do fine. Picture the Chinese restaurant from The Christmas Story without the duck smiling at you. It is worth a trip. The whole family left happy and that’s the most important thing.More

My wife and I walked here from our hotel evening and we felt very safe the whole time. It was our first experience with Dim Sum and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and the waitresses barely spoke english and it was awesome!...The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The prices were very reasonable.More

Next to the hotel we stayed so was convenient. Placed phone order and it was ready and piping hot. We loved the pork bun, kung po, and shrimp. A bit more expensive than I prefer, but the quality and quantity were great.

Very good traditional Dim Sum restaurant in San Francisco. Something for everyone, beef, pork, seafood and vegetarian. Reasonably priced.

We found the food here ok, but expensive. The servers are not particularly friendly and they have this system where after you pay they generate a receipt which requires you to sign off on tips. I thought that was sneaky. I'm not sure why I...would give a tip if I'm only picking up the food.More
