Breakfast only review. A popular place with hotel guests and business travelers, within the setting of the Ferry building. Good coffee and plentiful, tasty breakfast foods.

Outdoor space on the water in San Francisco, with long tables, makes it a great spot to meet for drinks with co-workers. Appetizers and pizza were delicious, better than expected, were good editions to the generous tequila shots our celebratory group gulped down. Festive and fun, I'll go again.

Order plenty of plates and share. It's the best way to sample all of the delicious farm to table offerings.

Was referred to this place by another restaurant that was closing, so came here and had a great experience. Though not a large menu, the choices were excellent. I cannot say enough good things about the black cod. One of the best I have had, as it is my favorite fish. Though not crazy about the shrimp dumplings that accompanied... More

We gave up on our hotels breakfast and googled this. They are open fairly early for this area and serve excellent food. The service is great, the coffee delicious, the breads artisanal and the fruit on the side is actually ripe and an elegant variety. My husband had the eggs with avocado and I had the Smoked salmon platter. Reasonably... More

I tried breakfast here twice and both times it was clear that the microwave had been used liberally. I tried the ham and cheese omelette one morning and had to remove the ham. It was a bunch of thin ham slices which appeared to have been heated separately in the microwave before being put in the pan with the egg.... More

Although I loved the atmosphere of this place and standing outside on a warm evening with colleagues was great, the service was extremely slow. I waited over 20 mins to order (trying to get someone's attention) then another 20 mins for my glass of wine to appear. I'd like to go back at a less busy time just to see... More

My San Francisco friends told me this is a "power breakfast" favorite. It certainly looked it, with many "suits" discussing business. The breakfast options were varied, and went well beyond the usual eggs and bacon. I had a wild mushroom scrambled eggs, which was delicious, as was the sourdough toast. Service was correct and efficient. My bill came to under... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
