The solicitous—but not over-the-top--service begins at the front door of the quiet, elegant venue and carries throughout the long feast of delicious, gorgeously presented food. While each of the many small courses is explained as they arrive at the table, the menu is presented at...More

We had the most amazing dinner and experience at Coi. The service was perfect, the interior design was great, and the tasting menu with the wine pairing was excellent. We have been to a number of Michelin starred restaurants and this one may be our...More

My husband and I dined at Coi on September 19 and left feeling robbed and disgusted. On entering the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was the oppressive brown decor and the fact that there were only about 10 patrons. It was a bit like...More

I've eaten at Coi 3 times in the last year, now twice with the current Chef, Eric Anderson. All meals have been excellent. The meal is a prix fixe tasting menu with nice variation and well proportioned servings. Within certain sections of the menu one...More

It was its 3 Michelin Star status that brought us here despite of some of the negative comments I’ve read prior to dining here. There are seven 3 Michelin starred restaurants in the Bay Area and Coi is the newest member on its list. Kudos...More

At the last minute I had to cancel my reservation. We called the restaurant and they were very gratotious. I hate to do that to restaurants but we had a family emergency. I hope I can visit them soon.

Our dining experience at Coi was extremely enjoyable and I highly recommend it for a romantic night out. The room is intimate, dark, and austere; from the start, food is obviously the main focus. But I’d also make note that the staff serving us was...More

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds
for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North
Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
