It is in a nice neighborhood. The service is great and the staff is really helpful. We ordered the calamari, the wild salmon and the fussili and everything was great. Excellent wines. Good value in price for San Francisco.

We did a birthday dinner here on Sunday night. We had reservations, but we saw several groups arrive without and they were seated immediately. The menu is printed nightly, and the chef prepares a variety of rustic Italian dishes that are outstanding. We had amazing appetizers, and the lamb skewered meatballs were incredible. Our entrees consisted of chicken, pork and... More

Being a NYC transplant I've found it hard to find good restaurants in the Bay area. They are there but are few and far between. We were lucky enough to stumble into Terzo one day and were pleasantly surprise. From the food to the decor it was everything you would hope for in a neighborhood restaurant. The menu changes which... More

I had a delicious meal here with my boyfriend. The menu is split up in to small plates and large plates but all portion sizes are fairly decent. We are big eaters and had four small plates and one large plate, which was the perfect amount for us. I would recommend having the hummus, which was creamy and authentic. The... More

The food here is fresh and delicious. We met with friends and shared several of the appetizers and also a main dish - pork shoulder I believe. The pork was so tender that it came apart with a fork. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I don't care for beets but tried the Roasted Beets and they were excellent. We were... More

Quite good! We went with friends who are regulars and got the regular treatment, very attentive and great explanations of the menu. We did corkage on a great bottle of Russian River pinot noir our friends brought and ordered a bottle from their list as well. This is a great restaurant in a very nice neighborhood and I would recommend... More

Description
Terzo, meaning third in Italian, and connoting a third place to gather and share food & wine, was inspired by our travels around the Mediterranean. After running Rose Pistola and Rose's Cafe successfully for years, we wanted to bring an authentic, upscale, European neighborhood restaurant to Cow Hollow. Terzo is a beautiful combination of modern and cozy. Chef/Co-owner, Mark Gordon creates food inspired by the coastal regions around the Mediterranean Sea, sourced from our bountiful local farms and ranches. the menu consistes of daily changing small and large plates, with many vegetarian options. The eclectic and diverse wine list is attractively priced, draws from regions all over the world, and is designed to pair perfectly with the cuisine. Please join us for an exceptional neighborhood dining experience and your private dining needs.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
