We stopped here because outside there was a nice Italian lady looking for customers. I was a little bit skeptical even if the lady was very nice, I was expecting the classical American style Italian food. We ordered gnocchi and the typical clam chowder. The gnocchi were very good and home made. My son enjoyed them a lot.

Capurro's had an all day happy hour menu with drinks and food that we just couldn't pass up. It was the right amount of food to get our energy back up to do some more sightseeing. Just order at the bar and then we were able to sit outside and do people. Since we were there midweek, it wasn't crowded.

They said to cook Italian dishes but I am Italian and the meal was terrible, not fresh and heating with microwave. But the worst experience was with the personnels that were very impolite and rude. A RESTAURANT TO AVOID!!!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We had steak (x2), gnocchi and calamari. We were apprehensive given the low rating on TA but were very happy with our food and drinks. The Italian waitress was very loud but very genuine and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals and can happily recommend.

We were exhausted and just ready for any meal, but we came away so impressed. Great location and great meals: terrific clam chowder, snapper and pesto gnocchi with a huge portion of crab. Walk a bit further down the pier and enjoy,

This restaurant will cook fish that you bring in. We went on a fishing charter then took some striped bass filets in to the restaurant and they cooked them to perfection, great meal but a but pricey for food that we provided. Bloody Mary's are very spicy!

Very inviting from the outside but didn't find the atmosphere inside we thought we might. There wasn't a lot of people in at the time so maybe would have found it better if was a little busier, The food was quite nice, although nothing special. (My pasta dish had cinnamon in, which I found rather strange!).

it is usually hard to find decent places when going around areas like Fihserman's Wharf ... many options are just poor, overpriced and badly served. I have been 3 times to Capurro's over the last 6 months and in my opinion this place is a good choice if you happen to be like we were at the end of a... More

We went here for lunch and it's on Pier 39 in a busy touristy area. The food is ok. I got the fish tacos and they came in a soft shell and my husband had the half crab panini with fries and clam chowder for $16. We got bread with the meal. Didn't get the dessert. The waitress with friendly... More

Had an early evening dinner. Service was very good. Pricing on par for the area which is very expensive. I would come back if in the area.
