Delicious food. Great value. Lively atmosphere. My husband has celiac and cannot eat gluten. Menu lists what foods are safe for a variety of dietary restrictions. Server was knowledgable about what to order allaying fears about cross contamination, etc. Dosas, chutney and virgin cocktails were excellent. Yum!

While I'm not a big fan of Indian cuisine, I've been to both the Fillmore and Valencia DOSA's and always had a great meal. On my last visit, I really enjoyed the Rasam "Fire Broth" soup which is a light broth with a very peppery taste. My daughter and wife had a number of dishes and there was nothing left... More

As a Tamil food lover, I couldn't wait to try this place. I have to say the flavours are authentic enough with some interesting experiments. I found it slightly overpriced, but the great service made up for it.

We love this place, the inventive menu, great twist on the traditional south Indian dosa, lots of interesting menu choices. Nice bar with cool cocktails. Great papadam. Hip popular spot, but the star is the food quality.

Habanero-Mango Masala Dosa spread with spicy habanero chutney (watch out!). We found the place full, and anxious ordering all around. I was accompanied by South Indian friends so we were all veterans of taste when it comes to dosa (or fusion dosa for that matter). Visited in Aug-2011.

Arrived at 7:01 for a 7:00 reservation and were told our table was not ready yet. At 7:15 we were seated at a high top in the corner of the restaurant (hostess fail). Our server greeted us at 7:30 and took a water order only (tap or sparkling). He returned at 7:35 with waters to take the alcohol order. At... More

Stumbled upon it of the internet, from entry to exit great place to try out south indian food. Great menu. International cards may have a problem going through the system, had problems with mastercard and diners, visa worked though. Our cards were from south africa.

Went to this place with high expectations as it was recommended by a local. The food was rather underwhelming. The vada was rock hard and overfried. The dips/chutneys and the cocktails were the only decent part of the meal. The mango habanero dosa had hardly any mango that I could taste; the seafood curry was just plain bad. I am... More

A restaurant overflowing with people and good cheer, serving a variety of snacky and meal time authentic Indian food, from South India, West India and North India. Prompt service and a bubbly ambience made it a pleasant lunch!

Loving gin and curry as we do, what a find! Decent gin was hard to find on every menu of every bar we visited while in California, so if you're a gin fan, this place a very decent range and well informed staff. The food was heavenly too!
