First time here ... most likely last time, as well ... We came here before a Giants game for drinks and snacks. Wasn't crowded, and ambience is fine. Ordered bar comidas of queso fundido and quesadilla de hongos. But first, let's get to the drinks. We all ordered margaritas, on the rocks, salted except for mine (there were four of... More

A great choice in SF and close to the ballpark. Food was great with an interestingness menu. The decor is nice with open and friendly environment. Great for large groups and very accommodating staff.

We had a couple of margaritas and shared the carnitas plate along with chips and salsa. Still surprised when you have to pay for chips and salsa but it was a decent amount of chips and 3 different salsas, which were tasty. The carnitas plate is easily enough to share. It does come with tortillas but that's it. No rice... More

Recently had lunch with my son and we paid close to 50 bucks with plain water as drinks. It's very convenient that waiters serve glasses of water and refill it constantly. Chubby stainless pitchers keep water very fresh. We tried Chicken soup with corn in the cob, House Special Torta with fries 🍟!!!, and two small tacos. Nothing spicy 😢... More

Come here for drinks with friends. Not for dinner. The food is okay but WAY overpriced for Mexican. AND everything is ala carte. You order carnitas for $18 and that is all you get. I am not opposed to ala carte, but really? Mexican is humble feel good food. This is akin to having to order red beans and rice as... More

Food was a tad underwhelming. Had the grilled mahi tacos (3 to an order) - pretty flavorless. Friend had enchiladas and he enjoyed but said they looked a lot better than tasted. Just felt the food could use some kick. Chips and salsa - plentiful. Perfectly located by the ATT Ballpark or close to CalTran Station. Offer a happy hour... More

We stopped here for dinner before a Giants game. Since we knew we would probably eat some junk food at the game, four adults opted to share 3 dinners, family style. My favorite was the carnitas. The chicken enchiladas we excellent as well. I thought the chiles rellenos were bland. As an appetizer, we shared the queso fundido, which was... More

Firstly I'm not a big fan of Mexican so I may be a little bias. It's a good size place in three sections, relaxed bar area, a lunch type area then a restaurant part. The tortillas were "traditional" but felt too stale, the cocktail table they set up for us to make margaritas was fun though. Food was "OK" and... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
