I stopped in since it was close to the hotel and I'm sure glad I did. The people were great and friendly and the food was Amazing. I even went back in the following night and was treated like a long time customer.

Wow! My wife and I first stopped by this restaurant because it was close to our hotel but we kept coming back throughout our trip. The food was absolutely delicious (breakfast and dinner). Their bread and oil appetizer at dinner is mouth watering! Plus the...More

After reading all the good reviews we decided to try Rocco's for dinner. The service was very bad even for a dinner style place. The food was even worse. We tried to order the Ribeye steak - but even though the evening had just started...More

Solid comfort food. I had the chicken Marsala and it was so delicious. The chicken was the most tender I have ever had. The clam vongale was tasty and rich. Excellent. Fast friendly service. I would definitely go back.

The teenagers made it their mission to find a restaurant shown on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. We found this one and it was very enjoyable. Food was awesome, memorabilia on the walls made it iconic, and just a great experience.

What's not to love about an Italian restaurant in the City by the Bay that plays old classics like Tony Bennett crooning "I left my heart in San Francisco" while you dine on great food made from traditional recipes? Everything from the food, ambiance, and...More

San Francisco is known for great Italian Food, with most of it is centered in North Beach. However, I can't imagine that anything is better than the meal that we had at Rocco's Cafe, in the SOMA area. The place is a real throw back...More
