I fell in love with Pasquales over the years while staying in San Francisco regularly, and it is a must visit while I'm in the city. The pizza is the best I have found anywhere, and is easily my favorite. I've never had something from the menu that was disappointing and delivery usually arrives in a reasonable amount of time... We just had pasta. Nothing special about it. Service was fast. We did not try the pizza. Price was reasonable.

Pick your own toppings, a magically crisp base, the perfect pizza! Beware of the sizes, the small feeds 2 hungry adults !

Went here maybe 3 times in a week when I visited the area last year. I tried 3 different pizzas and each one was as good as the last. Would highly recommend to any pizza lover. Can't wait to visit again!

Stopped by with family for a pizza lunch before venturing into GG park. Went in cold - intrigued by old school feel and seeing the dough being tossed fresh. Ultimately found the pizza very average, with the toppings better than the dough - but for me anyway pizza starts with the dough/crust, which were dry and lacked spring. The sandwiches... More

So as a heavy traveler. I run across places to eat often. This place has great food. Friendly staff and is tucked away in the inner sunset area near UCSF hospital. I eat here often and the cost is average and worth every dime. Large portions with pasta. Bread fresh and warm. Pizza hand made and you can get a... More

Went here with family and ate in the restaurant. Food was entirely unmemorable, pretty average, although only one person had pizza which is what they're known for. I had a flattened calamari in breadcrumbs, which was fine, although served with really mediocre pasta in bland tomatoes, and luke-warm veg, not great. One of our party had a fairly poor lasagne.... We were in Golden Gate Park and looking for a place to eat so we walked over to Irving and looked up and down it for a few blocks and decided on Pasquale's. Part of the reason was the old school Pizzeria look and the neon sign out front. Being from New York originally, and now a Cali transplant, once... More

Grabbed some sandwiches while visiting a friend who lives literally yards from this restaurant. When I smelled the restaurant, I made him go there with me for lunch. I got two sandwiches to try a little variety. Next time, I will definitely get some pizza.

I've been here numerous times before. For one, go to the one on Irving, not the one out in the Sunset by the zoo. The one by the zoo is nothing compared to the restaurant on Irving. Secondly, the previous reviewer says he didn't like the service. Well, that's because its almost all locals who go here and you just... More
