While the tuna salad sandwich and hamburger my wife and I ordered were very ordinary, the awesome views of Ocean Beach and the Sutro Baths from Louis' made for a most enjoyable meal. This "cash only" restaurant is reasonably priced, and I would not hesitate to dine here again.

Stopped here for lunch after looking around the Cliff House, Golden Gate Park and the Bath House. Great food. Rated it 4 stars because they only have 1 bathroom and it is cash only. There is an ATM onsite, but I would recommend stopping!

Hidden at the opposite end of SF from most of the congestion, Louis's offers flavorsome American favorites and a spectacular view of 'Lands End'. One can tell this is a family run restaurant...and for over 70 years. What sets this restaurant apart, in my mind, is their employees who go out of their way to make your meal enjoyable. From... We ate lunch here on our first day of vacation in San Francisco! We had a booth overlooking the ocean and Ancient Sutro Baths. Very Cool to look up the history on the Sutro Baths while your waiting on your food. I had a delicious French Dip on Sour Dough My husband had a bacon cheese burger and the kids... More

Super fun place with inspiring view, this was a great experience! Saturday morning breakfast was delicious, although we had a short wait for a table. This is a "cash only" establishment...with an ATM just in case.

This place is awesome! The food was great, staff was responsive and kind, and the view was just absolutely incredible. Undeniably a must-stop if you're vacationing in San Fran. We got the turkey BLT & chicken strips, and they were easily the best turkey BLT and chicken strips we've had. It might've been that we were starving when we arrived,... More

Very rude staff. Horrible service. We have being waiting forever, and since we asked to sit in a better place, next to the window the waitress was awful, super rude toward us. Then we decided to leave, and nobody seems to care about it... Even the manager! We will never coming back again. Awful service, terrible staff. Don't lose your... More

If you are a foodie, this is not your place, but if you like good traditional diner food, give this place a shot. Omelettes, burgers, fish and chips, soups and salad are all solid in an unpretentious, old school way. Most breakfast items come with an English muffin, rather than toast. You can substitute sliced tomatoes, cottage cheese, or a... More

It is something horrible. Plates served as for pigs, burgers and sandwiches only in their menu. And cash only! Very very bad. Don't even think to eat here.

I have eaten here more times than I can count. Rachel with the flower in her hair was my wait person for a couple of decades. Since her retirement, the newer wait staff are fun and helpful, but, they are not Rachel. The food is basic and delicious. There are several Vegan options. I LOVE this little restaurant.
