I visited Harvey's after going to the GLBT museum which is right up the street from the restaurant and they were soo good. I got a ranch wrap which had chicken, bacon and cheese. It was impeccable and not too expensive. The service was also pretty good. Would definitely recommend.

Great selection of drinks. Food selection was good but the best was our Host, Ty. He was fun personable and gave us great suggestions for having fun in the Castro district.

The food was really good and the server was really nice. The burgers were great so did the french fries. Great service and we got recommendations for the place to visit in Castro.

Had a Saturday night dinner here. Buffalo salad for me - it was okay, fresh with nice flavours but not spectacular. Calamari for my partner - tender squid that was crunchy but not a lot of flavour and it wasn't hot. We shared some sides - delicious sweet potato fries and really over-cooked, awful hush puppies (deep-fried corn bread balls).... More

We came in for lunch on the recommendation of a local and it did not disappoint. Great quick food in a nice setting. The highlight of this restaurant is definitely the friendly and attentive staff, not to mention its wonderful corner location which is ideal for people watching in this vibrant and ever evolving neighbourhood. Try the chicken fried steak!

Every time I visit San Francisco I always make an effort to have brunch at Harvey's. Love the theme, friendly staff, AMAZING service! I always drink mimosas in a pint glass and usually order the Harvey's mess skillet but today I tried the heart attack Benedict and I don't regret it at all. Erik is a fantastic server made our... Harvey's in the Castro is a great place to meet friends, enjoy cocktails and have great food. The servers are friendly and attentive and if seated near the windows it is a great spot to people watch. Brunch is great and they offer some of the best bloody mary's in the Castro.

I had dinner at Harvey's during an overnight trip for work. This was my second time eating here and it was just as nice as the first. The food is good and the servers are very pleasant. I had a table in the window, so it was nice to eat and people watch. The prices here are very reasonable as... More

Neighborhood Profile
The Castro
A flourishing commercial area that acts as San Francisco's LGBT community center and cultural heart, the Castro is a neighborhood welcome to everyone. As one of the first predominantly LGBT neighborhoods in the United States and currently its largest, it remains one of the epicenters of activism in the nation. Grand theaters and glitzy shops now compete with bars and fashionable eateries for attention, drawing visitors from around the world to the bright rainbow flag acting as its beacon.
