My husband and I don't normally stop in the "touristy" area restaurants, but we decided to be touristy this trip while visiting Pier 39 and stopped in Nicks. We were looking for the chowder served in the sourdough bread bowl. There's a guy outside trying...More

Had lunch and a beer here and found the food to be only average. I had a crab sandwich and Im sure that the crab had been frozen and lacked any real flavour. In saying that my wife had a burger and loved it. Ok...More

Small restaurant and a bit crowded but still a favorite whenever we are in San Francisco. It was a cold and windy night so this was a safe haven. We love the fresh seafood on Fisherman's Wharf and go to Nick's for the seafood Cannelloni.

A small cup of chowder a small calamari and a small shrimp cocktail cost me $23.00. When I asked about the price, took them a while to figure out. Not an honest business

They are dirty. The toilets, the floors, the tables. The food is not good, greasy and it’s has bad rate for value/money. Only the staff is nice, that’s for the 2 stars!

Whilst wandering round Fisherman’s Wharf we wanted to sample the famous clam chowder so stopped at Nick’s Lighthouse. You can pick something up to takeaway from outside but we needed a rest so sat down inside. We opted for the chowder in a sourdough roll...More

Firstly, the food was no so good. The waiter, an old guy (Edilbert) can’t wait for us to order as we ask a lot about the menu. Then he wrote an additional 15% to our bill !!. When asked, he said its the service charge....More
