Great spot for lunch-- really fresh, large salads. A few of my friends got sandwiches and also said they were very good. Fresh ingredients and pretty quick to make it

On a visit to San Francisco we went to get breakfast. We arrived one half hour after the expected opening time. The door was opened but we were greeted by an individual who told us they were closed. We assumed it was just because they...were late opening since she was bringing tables out as another employee came in. So I don't have any idea how good the food is but if you go there you may want to call first to make sure they are on time and ready for business.More

Delicious array of food selections ranging from salads & sandwiches to seafood options. Awesome customer service; fast & friendly. The space is small but packs a mighty pinch when it comes to food. My quinoa bowl was extremely filling & flavorful. The portion was so...large it lasted two meals. WG is located in San Fran's financial district so it's perfect for a quick & healthy lunch run and only a hop, skip and a jump from the office. The inside can get a bit cramped during busy hours and the few tables outside are snagged quickly. Arrive early if you plan to dine-in. Enjoy the freshness. ~Christy said soMore

We are travelling around the west-coast for 3 weeks now and the sandwich we ate this afternoon (pastrami sandwich) was the best we ate all this time. You really must go to this place!!!

My office is obsessed with their sandwiches. The bbq pork did not disappoint - sesame bread was crispy, even after I carried it all the way to the park. I usually only eat half of a sandwich and keep the other half for later. But...with this one, I devoured the entire thing. The staff is also super nice and service is pretty quick, even at lunchtime. We were recommended this place by our receptionist in Los Angeles so if a recommendation came from that far away then we would be foolish to not try it. It was great, a good range of fillings and breads, freshly made and it beat by...a mile the more higher profile sandwich shops for taste. Recommended.More

I had the Caprese Salad, and it was on a huge bed of Baby spinach. The basil, mozzarella cheese and tomatoes were very fresh and 2 different kinds of olives throughout the salad. I chose this place after passing it each day and it always...had a line, so figured it must be good. There are so many items on the menu, after watching and standing in line, I never saw the same thing order twice. Beware, this place is small and little seating available. BUT I just took my salad, walked a couple blocks, grabbed a bench on the bay and ate there. Most everyone else ordered and left, too.More

Although we only stayed for a few days in San Francisco, the simple lunch we had at Working Girls Cafe was the best we had. A wealth of choices in bread (sourdough, french, rolls etc etc), lots of delicious fillings and reasonable pricing. Everything is...prepared fresh, and tastes fantastic. The place is relatively small, so mostly you will have to consume your sandwich outside. If that does not bother you, go and order something of the menu when you are in the neighborhood, you won't be sorry.More

Found this place just by chance on the way to another spot. It is located between a Starbucks and Subways restaurant. We had bagels and they were amazingly fresh, good stuffed and delicious. Make sure to try the everythingbagel with turkey and avocado. Also the...coffee is great. Seems like a place where the locals frab their breakfast and continue on they way to work.More

Found by accident, what a great place for lunch. I ordered Cajun chicken on sour dough and it was amazing. Enough for two! Very impressed.

Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
