It's been a long time since my last visit to this restaurant and my last visit! My overall experience was poor! We ordered the clam chowder soup and it was poor! It was watered-down and very little clams in the soup! The sourdough bread was...10 times better! Our waitress was bad! Not friendly or helpful! Not once did she checked on us! The clam chowder was overpriced for what we got! We won't be coming back or remember this place.More

Possibly the worst “shrimp” I’ve ever eaten. Thick, greasy coating, soggy with oil. I peeled the coating and the “shrimp” was unrecognizable. French fries also soggy with oil. Very disappointing visit.

Unassuming gem of a place. The food is reasonably priced and very good with excellent portions. Husband had a crab sandwich which was huge and I had cheese ravioli with beef and tomato sauce, both were absolutely delicious. We’ve been in San Francisco 3 days...now and this is the best we’ve eaten and the best priced. The staff are quick, efficient and friendly.More

Quick street side service for lunches. Combination shrimp and fish was below expectations. Shrimp was very oily and thick batter. Fish was finger food type. Clam chowder bowl was ok. Should have tried the food next door. If you are interested in fried squid it...looked better. They do have inside seating for dinner so the food might be better.More

The inside of the restaurant really exhudes its history, the service is great, the clam chowder is good and the sourdough kind of stale, the shrimps and fried squid really need a little more seasoning..

Food was ok. Server failed to tell us lobster rolls were so cold even when we told her we've never been there and asked about various options. It was not good at all, tasted like miracle whip and cold lobster. For the $100 tab for...2 people, we could've easily gone to other restaurants actually worth the $.More

This was my birthday weekend and we went there the entire time of our San Francisco stay. Food was amazing. We still needed our vaccination card. But this is everywhere there. Seafood was delicious. Loved sitting at the bar. If you ever visit tell Don...the owner/bartender Jan and Ron said hi!!More

The best sourdough soup bowls loaded with clam chowder. I love that they give you all the bread from the bowl so you can dip it in the chowder. The chowder had big chunks of clams and a lovely flavor.

I just stopped in to use the restroom! Ended up staying for multiple drinks and food. The seafood and Louis salads are amazing. It well deserves its historical status. Gina the owner is lovely. We talked for a half hour before I realized she was...the owner. No pretensions, super friendly and welcoming. The touristy element is overshadowed by the genuineness. I rarely write reviews, but this was worth the password retrieval morass to get it done.More

We were going to Nick's Lighthouse next door but it was closed, so we came here instead. Both of our entrees were excellent, I had the Cajun Salmon tacos and my wife had the sauteed seafood medley. Bread is outstanding, but it is Fisherman's wharf....Service was very good, and the price was reasonable for what is a tourist trap zone.More

This place is located at Fisherman’s Wharf, close to the Pier where tour boats are docked. It is very popular and very busy, probably because the service and food are very good. I had some fresh oysters and they were excellent. We both had lobster...rolls, which were very good. Theirs are made with lobster salad, which in our view is not quite as good as warm buttered lobster but still the quality was very good. This was a great lunch for us after our boat tour.More

Extremely surprised at how good this was for a street food vendor on the Wharf. We opted for their fried options and got fried shrimp and fries and fish and chips. They have them in a case already pre-fried and I was skeptical on how...they would taste but they were super crispy, a good portion and the fries were on point. The breading on the fish was very thick but super crisp and the fish was very moist. The only drawback was how disorganized the line was and how to order. The line was not that long but we easily waited 20 minutes for our food that was sitting in a case.More

I recently spent a couple of weeks near this wonderful place. I went there for the food, which was outstanding, but I kept going back because of the service. If there is a person who does a better job of serving than Erwin Ebacuado, I...have yet to meet that person. But, he wasn't the only one. The other service people were good, too. Of course, there are many good eating options around the San Francisco Fishermans Warf, and I have tried many of them. This one is my favorite by far.More
