We had a couple of lobster rolls which are made with very fresh soft bread, very tasty. The chowder was good and I was told they did not put in potatoes which only take up space. Ate inside, and had good service, very attentive. WE started outside but they did not server lobster rolls outside, so the outside staff made... More

Glad you had a chance to enjoy our lobster rolls, Randy! It's great they truly hit the spot -- fresh and soft is exactly how they're supposed to be. Hope the rest of your visit to the Wharf went just as well. All the best, Tom More

A great place for a sit down lunch at Fisherman's Wharf. Clam chowder fine and rich. Service very efficient. Would certainly return.

The outside kitchens on the wharf are a bargain. The food is very good. I really like the deep fried shrimp baskets and chowder Bowles.. Watch out for seagulls.

Our experience was simply average. The food portions were quite large, the prices were about average for the area, and the taste was good but not amazing. The staff was really nice though!

My wife and I went here for fish and chips. At first glance we weren't really impressed with the place but since every other seafood restaurant was packed we had no choice. I was wrong. Sabella & La Torre is an excellent restaurant the food and service are both above average and the place has a very nice down to... More

Yummy bread bowl chowder and they served it with the chunk from the inside. We also had crab and it was delicious. There was a menu on the wall from the 1955 and we wouldn't have minded paying those prices! I bet it was less crowded back then, too! The waiter was friendly, efficient, attentive, and helpful when we had... More

Went here for lunch along with all the other tourists in Fisherman's Wharf. The clam chowder was excellent but that's were it ends. The crab au gratin that our son had had a Kraft cheddar square on the top rather than parmesan cheese. There was also pieces of shell which is not very pleasant. The sole which I had was very average... More

Not gonna lie, I wish your meal would have left you anything but grumpy. We certainly are known for our clam chowder, but you should expect that same quality in our crab au gratin and pasta. It's clear that we missed the mark, so I want to apologize for how things turned out. I hope the rest of your family's... More

Get a clam chowder to go, served in a sour dough bread. This was probably the best thing San Francisco has to offer, food-wise.

I popped in here tonight and sat at the bar to watch the end of the NBA game. I ordered the crab cakes. My food came out in less than ten minutes and the bar tender was very attentive even though the place was slammed. Good food and exceptionally friendly service.

While the Warriors unfortunately didn't win, I'm thrilled the crab cakes were a slam dunk. Thanks for watching the Finals with us, Alisha -- I hope we'll be able to welcome you back. All the best, Tom More
