On a pre-covid Saturday, we walked to Fisherman's Wharf and stopped to have clam chowder and a brew. Perfect for a warm day. On other visits I've had patrale sole and scampi, both were excellent. Haven't tried the take-out during covid. Can't wait to get...back.More

We're still open for take-out, so if you want to stop by for more clam chowder, we'd love to have you. It's great to read you enjoyed both our famous chowder and our sole and scampi too. Hope to see you on the wharf soon....More

We came in our first night in the area and ordered from the sidewalk stand. We were excited for fresh shrimp and chowder (coming from Colorado, good sea food is an exciting thing for us). We were sorely disappointed. Prices were "high" but we can...move past that for good food, but the quality was lackluster at best. The bread was chewy in that really bad sticky way. The chowder was less than can quality and the shrimp were overly fishy in a bad way (and the cocktail sauce seemed off as well). We would not recommend coming in. We found better places to eat just a few blocks away. I think tourists like us keep this place in business. Drat.More

Leah, I'm sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with your chowder or shrimp -- I can assure you that we only use the freshest seafood we can get our hands on. Hoping we'll get another chance to impress you sometime. Best, Tom

I love Italian and seafood, but this was the WORST of both I've ever had. Crab Cake appetizers were so bland and did not taste good at all. Who messes up on Fettucine Alfredo?? - Had the fettucine alfredo with shrimp and mushrooms and it...was the WORST I've had. I've eaten this dish everywhere from Little Italy to Olive Garden to my own kitchen with jar sauce, and this was terrible. It didn't taste at all like alfredo, more like a white sauce that had too much corn starch. The noodles weren't even good. It was a complete waste of money.More

We wanted to like this place but it was a huge disappointment food wise. I had the clam chowder, which had zero flavor. No seasoning whatsoever, not even salt and pepper...no crab and one potato...all "gravy". The peel and eat shrimp were good, my wife...had the crab salad sandwich which was just meh. I did have a local beer that was on tap and it was good. Service was slow. The restroom was filthy, there was blood on the toilet and paper towels everywhere because the trashcan had not been emptied in a while. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this place.More

I apologize if the place was anything less than spotless this time -- that shouldn't be an issue in the future. As for the food, I wish you had let us know so that we could have had the chance to bring you something else...More

In the middle of a very popular tourist area, this place is one of the best options. The fish is very fresh and prepared well. Lots of choices on the menu, all of them good!

A great lunch stop for my friend and myself. We wanted a fresh crab cocktail but really hate getting one and having to carry it around while eating — especially since there isn’t any place to sit. So we opted to go inside and dine....Our waiter, Kevin, was gracious, professional, and accommodating — and provided excellent service. We ordered our crab cocktails and enjoyed fabulous SF sour dough bread and fresh butter! A few dollars more than the “walking” cocktail, but worth every penny — excellent service, a nice place to sit, a larger portion, and French bread! The crab was delicious, too!More

Had some clam chowder in a bread bowl. Come on I’m in San Francisco so yes this is a given. They were fast with the service and I was lucky to grab a chair at the bar outside in front of their order place so...a bit crowded but good to put my feet up for a moment. The chowder was ok the bread was delicious. The chowder needed more flavor but it was hot so It hit the spot.More

The chowder was great, service fast and with a smile. The fish was not great but I realised as I travelled that regular fish and chips have a certain acquired taste. Location is busy but you are in the heart of Fishermans Wharf and would...definitely visit again.More

Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Decor & Style: 3/5 The Lobster rolls, Calamari, and Clam Chowder here were good, not great. The restrooms were small and slightly dirty, and the service was average. The Lobster rolls were overpriced, but I think all Lobster rolls...in the world are overpriced if you're in a touristy area. I probably would not come back here to try it as there are too many other seafood restaurants around here to try something new, but I still do stand by and say the lobster rolls were good.More

I have taken an Uber ride from my hotel to the fisherman warf and wanted to try some of the seafood staff This place looked more inviting and I first stayed outside and ordered 4 oysters which were very good After I entered the restaurant...and asked for a lobster role sandwich to go and I have taken it to the Yerba buena place and sat in the sun to eat The role was excellent and came also with very good French fries Was not cheap (11 dollars for the oysters and 26 for the role) but it was worth itMore
