The food was great and fresh. But the oysters were out of this world! Great taste, texture was creamy and flavorful...Fresh...did I say fresh....let me say it again. If you love Oysters, these were great, fresh and creamy. Service was very good and the food was tasty, full of favor and serve how it should be. Ready to eat. Great... More

We waited a while till we got a server to take our order. Pretty good chowder, not cheap, excellent museum with an enthusiastic historian there after the meal.

The sourdough sandwiches are very good. You order and pickup on your own (think Panera) and then find a seat. Seating is limited but not so bad that you can't find something. Try the Italian warmed up or the grilled cheese with bacon. Also, no bathroom available for customers of the Bistro which is kind of a bummer.

We ate here while on our family vacation. It took a little while to get us all seated, there were 10 of us, but some of us had just enough time to tour a small museum they have there. As you can imagine, we all tried a variety of things on the menu; Baby Clams, Shrimp tacos, French Onion soup... More

We had lunch there. Typical with the surdough break used as à plate for soup, it is very good and very well organized to be serves quickly despote a line. The tomato soup is excellent, the desserts look good (waffle) but are not the best in town. Worth a visit if you have never been there.

I had eaten fish at another restaurant earlier and wanted something different. Got the hamburger which is around $14 and it was on the sourdough bun. The bun was extremely hard and I ended up pulling the meat off the bun and eating the meat only at the end so I didn't scrape the roof of my mouth. Fries were... More

My wife and I were on our honey moon and the first place I said we have to go to is the Boudin Bistro and Bakery. Throw in 2 large sourdough bread bowls filled with clam chowder and a great bottle of California Chardonnay - Perfect. The museum is very informative on the company which started out in the 1800's... We ate downstairs. It was crowded but we still enjoyed it. Come 11:30 and you'll be better off. The sandwiches and bread bowl was excellent. I was annoyed by people hovering over our seats waiting for us to get up but I guess there is no other way.

Really friendly team, nice food away from the hustle of the street. Kids got given a surprise turtle sourdough loaf each - nice touch!
