At first we were disappointed that it wasn't a "Dueling Piano" night, but the food made up for that. It is decorated as a typical Irish pub. I can see how it can get crowded, but we were seated within 10 minutes around 7:00 on a Tuesday night. We had the mussels for an appetizer, and then for meals we... More

Great prime rib and Guinness, staff were very attentive, my glass was never empty. Decor was very typical of an Irish pub, nice portraits of famous people, although my son mistook Oscar Wilde for Hugh Grant

I went on a Thursday night with some friends. There is a piano fight in which a man and a woman play popular songs and songs that the crowd asks. They play each one at a time and the result is really nice

LOVE a good Irish Pub and this one delivered! Great, friendly service......a terrific menu......and amazing food!! Had a short wait both nights but for sure worth it here...... Not a lot of mid-priced eateries in this neighborhood so this restaurant fills a big void so expect a short wait but it will be worth it. Fish-n-chips? YUMMY! Irish Lamb stew?... More

We love local pubs so decided to walk down to Johnny Foley's from the Hotel Adagio and we are so glad we did! Loved the pub atmosphere and the food was very good! We ate fish and chips and drank a local brew and really didn't want to leave! If you like city pubs, I highly recommend this one. It's... More

I had the corn beef and cabbage. Fabulous choice as it was perfect. Service was outstanding. Very convenient if staying at Hilton Union Square. Definitely plan to come back and get the same dish!

We ate here mainly because it was near to where we were staying and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the corned beef which was excellent. Live music on later too. Good atmosphere, worth a visit.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Nikko and we got back late from a tour of Alcatraz and just wanted a simple, close place to eat to the motel. This met our expectations and had a good night atmosphere with good food.
