Very friendly staff. I had the Apple and Gorgonzola salad with chicken and it was excellent. The drink selection was also good. We would return!

Great place for a pit stop for a drink and also a bite to eat. Kids are welcome day and night with a kids menu available. Good location just off union Square and Powell Street.

Great prime rib so good went back and had it again. My wife couldn't stop talking about her chicken dish so we went back again. Good service waitresses were very friendly.

During a trip to San Francisco to attend a conference I visited this restaurant with a colleague. It was close to our hotel and we said “Why not?” We had actually been there a couple of nights before to have drinks (tip: don’t order a snakebite because they evidently don’t seem to know how to do it right). The place... More

Good sized pub with a busy bar in front and tables in a couple of rooms in the back. Pub menu offerings including our selections of Cottage Pie (quite good) and Fish & Chips (also quite good). Wonderful service from our waitress Linda. Great for a quickie lunch or dinner.

We just arrived in San Francisco this afternoon from Naples, FL. It's pretty chilly here. Johnny Foley's was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. The food was very good and the presentation was surprisingly good. We'd recommend it for sure.

At first we were disappointed that it wasn't a "Dueling Piano" night, but the food made up for that. It is decorated as a typical Irish pub. I can see how it can get crowded, but we were seated within 10 minutes around 7:00 on a Tuesday night. We had the mussels for an appetizer, and then for meals we... More

Great prime rib and Guinness, staff were very attentive, my glass was never empty. Decor was very typical of an Irish pub, nice portraits of famous people, although my son mistook Oscar Wilde for Hugh Grant

Very nice pub always crowdy ..better to go little bit earlier. Good beer but thdy serve Guinness too quick and cold. Food is ok we like it very much. Service is smart. The pub is large and noise but dont forget: is a pub! Nice evening...
