Our son knew about this place, otherwise I don't know if we would have found it. The wine list is eclectic and the atmosphere is very cozy.

The place isn't too big but you'll get a good wine there and they offer some food which is good as well, so if you're not up for the common way of having a drink chose this place

As a visitor to the city, I loved finding these out of the way places like the Hidden Vine. The place is dark, calm, and hip. There are a few tables and some couches. The wine selection for me was just fun, and I opted for a flight of rosé wines, just because. If I'd had more time in SF... More

We walked to this bar one evening as we stayed at the hotel near by. We made right decision. We loved the decor with a fireplace. Place is not big however it is decorated nicely and it has a warm welcoming feeling. Lights are dimmed and it felt very homey. Wine list was extensive and it was affordable. We picked... More

This is a lovely wine bar in the Financial District, which we visited on a Monday evening walking back from the Alcatraz night tour to our hotel (the Omni -also great!). The atmosphere was lovely, and as the name suggests it is quite a hidden little place. My comparison of a Californian vs French Pinot Noir was interesting, and my... More

Liked the place! I am such a sucker for a good wine bar, and this one is good. interesting atmosphere and furnishings, we sat at the bar, ordered red wine flights, and few appetizers. Very satisfying! Italian red wine flights were quite tasteful,, friendly service too.

A couple blocks off California - a chance walk by. Unique Eastern Europe wine selections this month. Memories of our Croatian visit.

This place is awesome! Wine is delightful. The atmosphere is very low key and mellow. Friendly staff as well! Will definitely be going there again.

Walked here from our hotel and enjoyed wine flights. The service was a little cool, but it has comfy seating and great selection of wines, cheese and charcuterie.

Thank Chris A

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
