I grew up in San Francisco and Sears Fine Foods is part of San Francisco history (1938). We now live in Sacramento but when we visit San Francisco, we stop at Sears for breakfast. Love the 'Silver Dollar' pancakes... everything is consistently good. Located near Union Square... very busy but don't miss this San Francisco landmark.

Ate here on a Sunday evening. It was very busy but we were quickly found a table. Served by Eddie. The food was excellent. So nice to find somewhere that does potatoes and vegetables after travelling in the US for a while. Pork chop was great. Fried chicken was good except one piece was under cooked. However Eddie sorted this... More

Sears has been around for many years. When someone visits us we always take them to breakfast there. They are famous for their pancakes ( silver dollar) but anything is great . The portions are big , well made at a very reasonable price. There is usually a line if you do not get there early but well worth the... More

A very refined feel to the place. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast. Pancakes were delicious but enormous.

Good restaurant, pleasant surroundings serving good food, excellent service. I started with Mussels followed by Lamb T bone chops, which were delicious.

My wife and I went here on four separate occasions whilst on honeymoon usually for dinner for once for lunch. We found this restaurant to be brilliant. Its location was perfect for our hotel and close to union square. We sometimes went to here for dinner then grabbed a taxi 1 block down to Pier 39. Everything we had was... More

Known for their pancakes and french toast, there always seems to be a wait for tables....especially on weekends. I do think the place is a bit over-rated but still worthwhile for a good breakfast.

This is my favorite restaurant in downtown San Francisco for breakfast. Good food, reasonably priced. Good Service.

Took wife and kids there for breakfast after reading other reviews. Food OK, service OK, nothing special. May be back for atmosphere but not for food.
