Who doesn't love a place that cooks exactly as you order! Loved the bacon and eggs breakfast. $9.55 before taxes and tip, includes hash browns and toast. Quite the menu offerings as well. Very nice people working here too!!!

The people who staff this place are lovely but the food is just ok at best and sub-par more often than it should be. For $15 and change you get a half-pound burger that is forgettable and onion rings that are, go figure, just ok. Took forever to get a refill on coffee, and when you toss in a tip... More

I needed breakfast before I traveled out of San Francisco, so while walking around Mission Street, I looked at the menu here. (Oh how I appreciate restaurants with a menu in the window.) I got the two eggs (any style) with hashbrowns and toast for only $6.05! I didn't want meat anyway, so this was a perfect deal. I got... More

Bad food which no one at our table finished. Ordered eggs over medium but they arrived barely cooked with runny whites. The chicken fried steak was barely recognizable as food. We felt depressed and tired after eating.

We chanced upon this restaurant while staying in the Mission District of San Francisco. Already in love with the area, we decided to take a walk up Mission St to get to the metro station and decided to stop for breakfast/brunch. It turned out to be a great idea. A comfortably unassuming place with fast, friendly service and delicious food... More

Very unassuming diner that serves delicious, comfort-food dishes. Daughter and I had french toast with strawberries which was wonderful - fresh fruit and scrumptious french toast. Ordered hash browns to share - they were very tasty, too. Husband greatly enjoyed the Denver omelette and son had a hamburger which rivaled those served elsewhere for 3-4 times the price. Very much... More

Excellent food, pricing just right, copious portions, friendly staff, a lot of coffee refills, and the classic diner look and feel. This is one of the best diner breakfast experiences I have had in the States. Would come here again for sure. Highly recommended.

This place is all about breakfast but they also do lunch food and all the food is good. The service is always with a smile - even when they're busy and they often are busy.

We ate here for 2 mornings of our stay - would have been 3 if we'd found it sooner! Excellent breakfast, great choice and fab location. Ate here before heading off to set cable car, and there early enough to miss the queues! Food was fresh and tasty, and excellent value for money. All in all, a lovely, quiet place... More

Love the staff, love the food! Staff greet you with a smile everytime you go in. They remember faces. It's hard not to leave at least a 20 percent tip in this place. Will definitely be coming back the next time I hit up SF

From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
