Definitely worth the visit if you like craft beers and good food. The place is trendy and the service is also very good. I'd recommend for sure.

We thought will be good idea to try something casual but not a franchise near our hotel. We had our doubts about a brewery that offers Spanish food (I love Spanish food but don´t like their beers). Well we were gladly surprised, at our first visit we didn't order a beer, instead we order paella, sangría, bottle of wine and... More

Stopped by for beers and dinner. They have a Spanish cuisine menu. I had the Valencia Paella and it was reasonably sized dish. The dish had mussels, clams, shrimp, chicken and fish. The rice was full of flavor and that with a couple of Dunkel beers made for a nice affordable dinner.

I sought this place out, as wanted to taste the local craft brews, I wasn’t disappointed. Didn’t want any food so sat at the bar, and as it was relatively quiet service was very swift. Guess being a Tuesday afternoon helped, but still a good number of people in there. Instead of going straight to my favourite style, got the... More

What's not to love? Beer on tap. Great Service. Good food - tapas and the playoffs on TV. (Go Cubs!) The food was very tasty and the portions were ample - 5 of us ordered about 8 items and left some on the table. Waitress was really helpful and attentive and accommodated all our receipt requests. Would go again and... More

Wish we'd read the reviews but we didn't. Big mistake. There was a very strange smell in this restaurant. The Devilled Eggs were recommended as a tapas but they were bland & flavorless. Had better at every house party I ever attended in the 70's. We ordered Paella which seemed a very fake version. Flavorless rice with stuff in it... More

Came here on a late Friday night and found the place about half full -- though still pretty loud. Quite an extensive beer and food list. I ordered the panda bear ale, terrific with notes of vanilla and chocolate nibs -- dying to get it again but it's brewed in house. Friend had a local CA Sauvignon blanc. We ordered... More

Had a quick 2-night business trip to San Fran and stayed in one of the larger chain hotels downtown after taking the BART up from SFO. I was looking for a late night "beverage" and some light appetizers, found the Thirsty Bear on the Beer Advocate app and chose it over a couple of other places in similar proximity -... More

just stopped in for beer, not food so if you are looking for info on the food, try other review I tried 3 beers and kinda liked the one I settled on, didn't have a 2nd glass; maybe it is only my taste but lately there are SO MANY places brewing their own beer and usually I really like them... Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
