We had a group of 12 here for a work dinner. The beer was very good. The food was not. There wasn't one dish that people raved about and I think we tried them all. They rely heavily on seasoning and garlic. Too much garlic. Service was ok. Would go back for a beer, but will find a different place... More

Fun bar with micro brews. I am not a beer drinker but luckily there is a full bar as well. Did not eat but meals look good. Open til 11 which is rare for this area of town

Nice environment to hang out in a hip area of town. The beer was pretty good, not my favorite, but enjoyed sampling the flights so I could try them all. Variety of beer choices that should meet everyone's preferences. We had a great time playing darts upstairs and the place is huge so there is plenty of room for large... More

I try to visit whenever I am in San Francisco. My latest visit did not disappoint. I asked for a table in the flamenco room & was seated with a good view for the show. Love the tapas menu. Tried a pintxo of a stuffed date, along with a beer & jamon serrano pairing. Slices of the jamon were excellent.... More

Great place, nearly center. The beer is good and the food is great. Interesting place for the decoration and atmosphere. But the service is not good, they push too much and they forgot patience.

I had to the cask ale, I had heard alot about it prior to my visit. It was all that I heard, a must try before its all gone. Looking at the food menu,... More

We enjoy the restaurant every year in July during SEMICON West. Even the restaurant sounds like beer restaurant, they serve good wine and Spanish foods. The waitress served us was nice and recommended the great combination of wines and foods this year.

Stopped by the bar after work to get a beer and some food. I usually love craft and organic beers. I tried 2 different beers here and they were ok but nothing would inspire me to recommend them to anybody else or come back again. Similar reaction to the food, I ate it but was not very exciting. Bartender was... More

Popped into the bar for a tea and deviled eggs, and tapas. Loved the casual design, low-key feeling and excellent fast service. I'll be back for dinner next time!

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
