One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in my life The four and a half star rating is a joke I walk in, for breakfast, I think it took about 10 minutes for the server to walk over. I ordered water with lemon....I get my water. It’s warm. Right out of the sink, I’m pretty sure. I Ask for my lemon, and also for some ice. He asked the owner behind the counter, Who I believe is the elderly couple working there) whether they have any lemon. They don’t, they ran out. In the same breath, he has no ice, the ice machine “broke“ I order the vegetable omelette, hash brown potatoes, very well done, and sourdough toast. The owner proceeds to tell me that there’s no guarantee, they do make their potatoes well done, but there’s no guarantee that they’re going to be able to do it. About 30 minutes later (and the place was not busy) I get my food. The hash brown potatoes were not edible. Between the omelette and the hashbrowns, I seriously felt like there was a quarter of a cup of oil in there, and I can’t even imagine what kind of oil it was, and how old it was. The vegetable omelette was edible, but definitely oily. The heartburn set in very shortly after leaving the restaurant. Tab was more than 17 bucks. (I did order egg whites). No coffee nothing other than water Then I had to use the bathroom. Consistent with the rest of the restaurant, the bathroom was pretty grotesque. There was a huge 4 foot plus high garbage can in there, probably the main trash bin for the restaurant, in the bathroom. I waited about six hours from the time I left the restaurant to calm down and write this review just in case I felt any differently six hours later. NOT! We’re talking about a zero rating if that was possible and I didn’t have to give a one for poorMore

We went for breakfast and asked for iced latter and he brought us a glasses with coffee and ice. Did not have a clue what is an iced latte. Once we spoke with the old man who seems to be the only person serving table...taking payment sitting people (slowly) he told us they didn’t have and took the menu from us without giving us a chance to order. Very rude and unpleasant person we left very disappointed after reading good things about.More

This is the place for an inexpensive, filling, tasty breakfast. I had corned beef hash and eggs. My wife had cream cheese stuffed French toast. We loved the place.. The resturant is owned and operated for the last forty years by a Korean couple. You...will be glad you found this place.More

Wonderful little cafe that is open everyday, unless the owners are on holiday or sick. The owners are a Korean couple that have run the cafe for 40 years, having moved to the USA from Seoul some 50 years ago. The photo below is in...my mind, what an American Breakfast should be...More

Me and my wife found this place and were really glad we did. The food was lovely, the place was cosy and the couple who run it were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We'd happily visit here again

Mom and pop breakfast shop. No bells and whistles but they cook up all the classics very well. Service is friendly and fast. Great value and surprisingly decent coffee.

Went here after reading reviews and was not disappointed, yes decor is untouched since possibly the elderly couple running it first opened, but who cares. Food is great and a bargain, amazing choice on breakfast menu and that is all they do here breakfast. It's...not open for dinner. The couple running it have been doing it for more than 49 years and are a delight. She cooks and he serves.More

We were there twice during our visit in SF. The food and the service was really good. The french toast stuffed with cream cheese was amazing, actually the best introduction to an authentic american breakfast. The ham that came with it was the best choice...(you can choose ham, sausage or bacon).More
