Invited there by locals, we had a great breakfast. Quality food in a cool ambiance. Good situation, as usual you'll have to drive around to find a parking space, but you'll find one eventually. First come first serve, nothing new there, but really good food!

This was a great place to have breakfast and lunch. Very quiet and clean place The service was fast and the price was just right. The cafe sits in the heart of Haight St. and is a great spot for indoor or outdoor eating.

Three of us had lunch on December 7. We ordered our food and it was promptly served. Two of us ordered the Ruben sandwich and we both agree it was very good. Our side kick had the grilled cheese sandwich, a great blend of different cheeses. Quick and easy, also a great breakfast menu Try it and you won't be... More

Food was really good. Cashier a bit unfriendly, but overall experience very good. Tuna salad was very fresh, as was the Cesar salad.

The specialty coffee I ordered was EXCELLENT, met friends here for brunch, was crowded, but not NOISY! I had steak, eggs, home fries, it was good, and a lot of food! The steak was moist, and seasoned JUST enough! I'm a NATIVE San Franciscan that still lives here, and will be coming back! My ONLY complaint was that on weekends,... More

Love this place. It is just round the corner on Haight from where my friends and I are staying and it's breakfast menu is quite incredible. Spotlessly clean, with an outside seating area and friendly staff. The food is scrumptious and sets you up well for a day of sightseeing. Have been there every morning of our visit to SF.

We just had breakfast and coffee. They have a variety of menu items to choose from. It was a few minutes walking distance from the Metro Hotel. It was served up quickly and tasted great. I highly recommend it.

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
