Food was really good. Cashier a bit unfriendly, but overall experience very good. Tuna salad was very fresh, as was the Cesar salad.

The specialty coffee I ordered was EXCELLENT, met friends here for brunch, was crowded, but not NOISY! I had steak, eggs, home fries, it was good, and a lot of food! The steak was moist, and seasoned JUST enough! I'm a NATIVE San Franciscan that still lives here, and will be coming back! My ONLY complaint was that on weekends,... More

Love this place. It is just round the corner on Haight from where my friends and I are staying and it's breakfast menu is quite incredible. Spotlessly clean, with an outside seating area and friendly staff. The food is scrumptious and sets you up well for a day of sightseeing. Have been there every morning of our visit to SF.

We just had breakfast and coffee. They have a variety of menu items to choose from. It was a few minutes walking distance from the Metro Hotel. It was served up quickly and tasted great. I highly recommend it.

Typical tourists, we were wandering aimlessly after leaving Alamo Square. We literally stumbled upon this place and were very glad we did. Great mid-afternoon sandwiches (after skipping lunch) - good-sized portions, excellent food, friendly service that leaves you alone once you get settled. If I were a local, I would make it a regular spot.

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
Haight-Ashbury
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
