The Wonton soup really good. It is quick, they treat you great and it's an excellent price for the value. If you're around Chinatown, stop there.

One of the San Francisco Chinatown staple won run place. It’s gotten more popular since I was last here. Also added more to their selections with scallion pancakes and xiao long bao. Nice staff and yuck service. Good place to stop if you are craving...for Cantonese comfort food.More

We found this tiny restaurant in a guide and it is a bit off the main streets in Chinatown but it was a good choice, the range of food is not wide but we were hungry in the middle of the afternoon and it was...perfect for us , I loved my noodles and the dumplings , it is not so expensive and it seemed clean and hygienic, which was not the case in some other Chinese restaurants and they did not harangue us in the street to come and eat , which also happened in other Chinese restaurants nearby.. Basic, simple and cheap.More

This hidden gem on the outskirts of Chinatown is a great stop for any tourist or local. The House Special Wun-tun Noodle Soup is the perfect comfort food on a gloomy San Francisco day. The service is speedy and the food is cheap compared to...the surrounding area. The place is packed with local regulars. I forgot a was a couple blocks away from my office in the Financial District because the experience felt so authentic!More

A couple of doors from our hotel, was determined to try it but closes early......on our last day we went for lunch prior to going to the airport. Small place but bustling, shared tables, had wanton and noodles with beef brisket very very nice. Wantons...tasted like ones I had as a child! Takes one back in time! So glad to share the experience with my 18 year old son!More

Had lunch here with family. We ordered the regular won ton noodles, beef stew won ton noodles and curry fish balls. All tasted ok except there was a lingering aftertaste in the mouth that normally associates with the use of MSG. Plus pricing might be...a little awry as the beef stew won ton noodles costed twice as much as the regular won ton noodles. So one should check pricing carefully before ordering. Unlike many other small won ton houses in Chinatown, this one accepts credit cards but minimum charge must be over $15. Ok for a quick meal as despite the possible MSG aftertaste, no stomach or digestive issues...More

After much deliberation, we decided to settle on the cheap option for food. I was not expecting a lot from the google reviews but was pleasantly surprised when we found the place really busy with a good atmosphere. The service was good and the food...came quickly and was delicious - I would recommend the Pork Wun Tun noodle soup.More

This restaurant was recommended by our driver and we dropped by for lunch. Fortunately we came around 12 and there is a table for four. There are also seats by the counter for single eaters. There are beef tendon and brisket, wanton, char siew noodles....For desserts please try the red bean soup. The noodles is cooked just right, springy (Q-Q). Service is fast, and you can get in and out within thirty minutes.More

Been disappointed with Chinese food offerings around the US of A until we found this gem of a place in Chinatown SF which was recommended by a local that we approached in the vicinity. Best “Nou Lan” (beef brisket”) noodles and very decent pricing too....And portions are not your typical American size which is such a waste!More

I live 30 min north of SF and enjoy doing a night there for an occasion. Found myself walking past there at night. It is always filled with men in their cooks whites filling up after a long day. They have the best soup stock!...Nice mix of chicken and pork and the won tons are tender and filling.More

Hon’s has great food at relatively low cost. Our family of 5 had dinner and a drink for a total of $50. The stewed beef brisket with wun-tun noodle soup (#10) is excellent. A small restaurant but it was packed the whole time we were...there and a line formed out the front. It closes early, around 7pm, so plan to eat after walking around town or the shops.More

Was visiting friends in SF from London, but had a day alone exploring Chinatown (being originally from Hong Kong myself). Was planning to get a standard dim sum fare for lunch when I saw the shop front from a distance and had my appetite whetter...for some old-school street food. Cheap (for SF), fast authentic wonton (dumplings) noodles, with various additional traditional dishes available. The interior decor or food presentation are far from fancy, the seating uncomfortable, location right next to a dirty busy road, but I'd highly recommend the food for tourists and expats alike.More
