We were looking for Mexican food while walking through Haight Street and found El Faro. The burritos were great and it was a nice place to get lunch.

Been coming here for years, it's Old School Memories, Super Carne Asada never disappoints,no lettuce, Ladies are always friendly, interesting pics and newspaper clippings about History of the place, Tortas are Muy Bueno also, Enjoy

Its been there for a long time yet people don't know about it. Nothing fancy but tasty. wet burrito and a real coke for less than $10. It's a regular spot.
