The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
