I liked the clam chowder a lot. Bread was great too. I ordered the crab cakes too. They were small and a bit greasy, but they were OK. Service was good. A bit pricey, but it's too be expected for the area.

Having arrived into San Francisco from Yosemite we were ready for lunch, and fast! After walking up and down Fishermans Wharfs for ten minutes or so it seemed as if we should just take ' pot luck' and find somewhere that had seats availiable at this busy time of day! However we chose Pompei's Grotto purely on the aesthetics of... More

We visited here in June while we were staying on Fisherman's Wharf. Love the location, it felt safe & there's lots of choice of eateries in this area. We visited here and placed our order - I asked for the risotto with chicken. When it came it was mushroom! My partner also asked for another beer and this was served... More

One of the lightest, most delicious fish and chips I have had. Hubby had linguini and clams. Said it was delicious, his friend had steamed clams and loved it. We sat outside and watched the crowd in a cool sunny day. Lots of fun

Lovely looking clapperboard building between Fishermans Wharf and Ghiradellis Square. Staff and service good. Food ok but not stunning. Calamari starter which we shared was excellent but mains were average. OK its is in a tourist spot so you expect it. There was a promotion for half priced bottle of wine which helped

We dined here on our first night in San Francisco. We found the staff to be friendly, attentive and professional. The menu was diverse and we all found something to our liking. The meals were above average being tasty and ample. We would definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

We stopped here on a whim while walking through Fisherman's Wharf and were very pleased with our meal. We were seated quickly (I did notice there was a wait as we were leaving, so you might want to try for an early lunch if you don't want to wait). I had the Captain's Platter which had a variety of fried... More

Great place to go if you love hair. Hair in the $16.00 bloody marry, and hair in the $19.00 crab cakes. Asked to speak to the manager but she was too busy in an interview to take care of the customers in the establishment she is supposed to be in charge of. Pretty sad excuse of a restaurant. Save your... More

We really enjoyed the variety on the menu and the taste of the cuisine. We did not have to wait long for a table and received excellent service.
