Excellent italian food restaurant in SFO!!! Great staff and tasty food. Pasta and seafood are great options! Prices are OK, fair for food quality and service.

We had a lovely lunch here today. My husband ordered the chicken club, I ordered the fish and chips. I said I would like cole slaw but it wasn't included. So I said skip it. Our waitress got it for me anyway! The bloody mary's were on special and were REALLY good. The only thing I can complain about and... More

My family came in here for dinner after a long day trekking around SF and it was pretty good. The buffalo wings starter was a bit lame but maybe as an Italian restaurant it's not exactly their specialty. We all had pasta and it came in massive portions that we couldn't finish. All in all it was pretty good, reasonable... More

The fish and chips were very good. They are one of their specialities and it lived up to it. Everyone came to the consensus of a 4 star in total.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on 4th of July. We were very hungry and it looked like a nice place from the outside. We were seated outside and didn't see a server for at least 5 minutes. It was getting cold anyway so we decided to move into the bar. The bartender was pleasant, but the food was terrible.... More

They rush you. You get given the bill whilst finishing your main course and are not asked if you would like dessert.

I went to Pompeis twice in a row as the first time was so good, Had the bruschetta, mussels which are yummy, prawn cocktail and seafood stew which is kind of a bouillabaisse but with more tomato sauce, it's great especially when it's a bit cold outside. All food was fresh and tasty, service friendly and price is ok for... More

This was our second time visiting Pompei's over the last couple of years and it was very good again. We found the service to be excellent and all four of our meals were very good. We definitely recommend Pompei's Grotto!

Saw a sign outside for fish and chip special for $10 so popped in. The restaurant is very tired now and everything felt old and a bit dirty. The toilets were not great. The food came super quick and was of average quality but a decent portion size. The couple next to us had regular fish and chips for twice... More

Pompei's Grotto is in a great little street location with an outside patio on the main walk towards pier 39. The customer service was great, the happy hour has lots of options at great pricing. Try the mussel ' s they won't. disappoint.
