Dropped in for a bowl of chowder before our Alcatraz tour. If good clam chowder is what your looking for, skip this restaurant. I’ve eaten plenty of chowder in my lifetime and this was by far the worst.

Okay, you can get chowder in a bread bowl and eat it on the street. Or a crab and crack & eat it out in the salty air of the Bay. Or, you can go inside, upstairs and sit at a window looking over the...More

The service was very good and the food was good. Just small portions. Also, the decor looks like it’s from opening day decades ago. Makes you wonder what the kitchens looks like.

We stopped here for lunch as we usually pick a different restaurant each time when we visit the wharf. The service was good and she was attentive. Forgot her name but she was a middle aged, blond haired lady. Seemed some type of European. The...More

Came back for another visit a few years later! Oysters followed by crab which were excellent. Hubs had the seafood platter which was a massive amount on one plate. Service was great and the view amazing as we were seated next to the panoramic windows....More

Description
Cracked Dungeness Crab, Clam Chowder, & Cioppino are among guest favorites. Seafood Fettuccine Tarantino, a crowd favorite, Scallops and prawns in a sauce of garlic, herbs, cream, and freshly grated parmesan cheese, is one example of the Italian flavor which is a hallmark of our seafood. For a quick bite, visit Tarantino's Sidewalk Cafe. Our Dungeness Crab are cooked, cracked, and wrapped to go--call in advance for curbside pickup. We strive to provide our customers with a consistently memorable fresh seafood dining experience with a unique San Francisco bay view. Banquet facilities available.
