This is one of my favourite places to eat when in SF, and it never lets me down. Service is good, and as a tourist, where else am I going to be but Fisherman's Wharf, so it's the handiest restaurant to drop into. Good value Italian, not trying too hard....you don't need to wear cocktail dress. Have mobile chargers as... More

I dined at one of the best restaurant's in San Francisco last night (One Market) on business at the tune of $2,900 for seven people. Would trade it all day long for a bowl of Cioppino's seafood stew, sour dough and a Corona! Great fresh dish in a friendly atmosphere. It may be in a tourist area, but the stew... More

We were a party of 7 visiting Fisherman's Wharf when we decided we were hungry and ready for dinner. Searching on OpenTable, we chose Cioppino's based on availability and reviews. We were happy with our choice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We each made several adjustments to our meals and everything was prepared correctly. My gluten free daughter... More

The interior if the restaurant is nicely done and they have some cute tables in the back. The service was friendly - but the waiter was non existent and we had to keep asking passing busboys for all sorts of basics. 😒🙁 The cioppino had a good flavor and the seafood was fresh overall. The fresh sour dough bread was... More

We stopped in for a late dinner and I am glad we did. I had the fried prawns and it was awesome. The service was great and staff did a great job. I would definitely go back.

My wife and I had 2 meals here on successive nights- it was so good and well priced. Not cheap but not expensive. I have the Cioppino. If you like seafood, this is worth a try. We also had the fried Calamari- this was some of the best I have ever had. Very light. But I had to ask for... More

We tried various restaurants in the area of the fisherman wharf and this place merits a try. Suggest the Cioppino (with crab legs or without) and the crab cakes. The staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Generally speaking the food is good and the price is lower than some expensive average restaurants in that... More

Had a groupon 2 for crab dinner. Two large crabs, soup or salad, plus dessert. Outstanding service and they have free parking.

We arrived on our first night at Fisherman's Wharf and had dinner here. Our hotel concierge recommended the restaurant and the food was great. You must try their Cioppino, it's a seafood stew type dish, very delicious.

My flight was delayed, giving me time try another restaurant in the fisherman's wharf area. I walked in right when it opened at 11 AM so of course, it was not crowded at all. I started with some complimentary sourdough bread which was delicious. I started with a cup of lobster & tomato bisque with sausage & it was very... More

A Fisherman's Wharf Tradition. Fresh seafood and Italian fare, located right in the heart of it all. The best Cioppino in the city. Great food at reasonable prices.
