During a recent business trip we visited Cioppino's. It was my first time eating at this restaurant and the food and the service was amazing. Michael was our waiter, he by far exceeded my expectations. We were a party of 16 with numerous drink, appetizer and entrée request and he never skipped a beat. If you ever have the pleasure... We were looking for a place to have a nice Sunday lunch and picked Cioppino's. The appetizer was excellent, and the meals were good and large. The waiter had a great sense of humor and made the experience.

... And you will leave fool! The food is great but it's good.. Although a bit too expensive in my opinion.. The quantity is.. Too much to be honest! But overall it's a good place to eat, and the price reflects the touristic area I guess..

At the wharf, came in very late for dinner(20 minutes before kitchen was to close); our waiter was wonderful, the menu had a vast selection; prices were per norm for an upscale restaurant in this area; cocktails were great.

With a group of 11, we were able to get in on a busy Saturday night because it sits off the main touristy area in Fisherman's Wharf. The food was really good with something for everyone. The fisherman's platter was amazing along with their pasta dishes. There are quite a few items for the vegetarians in the group unlike you... More

We spent the day at Alcatraz so we wanted something nearby for dinner in Fisherman's Warf. This place had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. I had a cup of the clam chowder which was excellent. My friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added grilled chicken. I had the scampi linguine which had a surprisingly large... More

We were touring the city on our honeymoon. As we were down at the fisherman's wharf and walked by Cioppino's the smells drew us in. At first glance it seems to be a nice restaurant, which is it. Very clean and good atmosphere. The service was great although a tough pushy towards the most expensive dishes. We settled up two... More

Bartender messed up drink order while we were waiting for table. By now he should understand the difference between a shot and something served neat. why garnish a rim if the person stated neat? Food was at best average. we both had the cioppino, it was solid, but nothing special. I will say the fish and shellfish in the dish was... More

Although one might think of this spot as touristy with its location on Jefferson street, we really enjoyed the food here. Casual 'family' style atmosphere with great service, reasonable prices and yummy seafood/pasta.
