We ate here last year on our annual San Francisco trip. It was a very tasty burger and fries. The restaurant looks small, but it's not! There is a big room in the back.

Met a friend for dinner and the service and food were great. Parking lot nearby and affordable. A gem in the city.

Maybe they were having a bad night but it was the worst burger I've ever had. Dry, tasteless, and the only time I've eaten here.

Great tasting, enormous burgers! Lots of different options, and it's cute inside too. Also have salads and chicken fingers etc. Sweet potato fries were yummy and so were the truffle fries.

Basic hamburgers done two dozen different ways. The menu is creative and extensive, and even our picky eaters found it acceptable. The medium rare came as medium rare, and the well done came as well done. The also have appetizer options including a mezze style platter, as well as a portabello mushroom sandwich for the vegetarian or vegan folk.

From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by the friendly staff. Lots of room to sit and comfortable seating. The burgers are delicious and all the extras are equality yummy. The shakes are sinfully good. Onion rings are made in the spot with the perfect batter. We have found our burger heaven in San Rafael!

The burgers were delicious and huge. Two people could have split one. My son got a vanilla milkshake, made like they used to, it was great. It was easy to find seating (two other restaurants were full along our path). The waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. Thank you!!

Trekked across town on the muni to find this place. It offers veggie options, I had the portabello mushroom burger which was awesome. Really cool vibe and great service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and are hungry.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
