Lovely service and yummy food, not a tourist place but a gem for the local population. The chorizo mussels are special indeed, as is the Veggie burger. On a nice day the setting sun lights up the interior with a cozy glow and allows for beautiful al fresco dining on the sidewalk patio.

Sweet little bar cafe in Nob Hill. We ordered a Cobb Salad w/o corn and dressing on the side, the salmon special and the quesadillas. The Cobb salad was an ok size and nothing special about it. The chicken seemed to have a pesto marinade on it. The quesadillas were huge and tasty. The salmon was good but done a... More

We choose to visit this restaurant after reading other positive reviews on TripAdvisor and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The venue felt authentic, the staff extremely friendly and attentive and the food was delicious- one of the best steak my husband has ever been served. I had salmon and was only sorry my English size appetite made it... More

I have to say that for pub good this was pretty darn good. We had 3 different appetizers and all were wonderful. We had a small pizza, spring rolls and shrimp cakes. All were great and not over priced for SF! I would go back

Nice place with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is good and there is plants of food. Their ravioli and pulled pork burger is recommended.

Such a great neighborhood place on a busy Polk St. corner with a few outside tables and big windows open to the street. Friendly service, casual setting, with local ballgames on the bar tv. Menu leans toward American comfort food, with nachos, great pulled pork sandwiches, fish tacos, Cobb salad, fresh salmon, burgers and pasta dishes. All dishes are generous... More

My second visit and I had the most delicious jumbalya with lots of shrimp, chicken, and sausage with perfect rice and not too spicy. Loved it! Also had chicken stuffed with feta cheese and fresh greens, cauliflower and broccoli with mashed potatoes. Good friendly service and not Elroy expensive

I run by this place in the early mornings quite often. The cleaning company is constantly dumping dirty/chemical water in the sewer that drains to the bay. I've reported this many times and it keeps happening...

Ahi tuna taco's with a bite of heat, specials including fish and an adequate Cobb salad. Full range of craft beers. Try it.

Loved this place. As a single woman traveller I felt instantly comfortable. The staff were friendly as were the other customers. The service was great and the food was scrummy.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
