Pacific Heights has many casual dining venues. Today I tried the quirky but charming Grove Fillmore and indulged in the New Yorker breakfast sandwich with hash browns. While the hash browns were not a solid patty, the intensity in flavor made up for the lack of uniformity. The Brioche bun was warm and soft, the pastrami was tasty and tender,... More

At first glance it looks like a warm family held coffee house where you'd expect to find some quality food and savory coffee. There are a lot of people who eat breakfast and seem satisfied. Family of 5 with very diverse food interests and we all found something great to eat here and pretty affordable by San Francisco standards. Loved the atmosphere. Kitchen is small so food came out staggered a bit but staff was attentive and apologetic. Great experience and was glad we took the trip out from Union Square.

Something for everyone on the menu. We all had something different for breakfast and loved everything. The fresh squeezed orange juice is divine. It's packed, but worth it.

Loved The Grove! The food was exceptional the staff was wonderful. It was clean, fresh ingredients great music and definitely was the California experience. We had breakfast there three times once for dinner and lunch before we left to the airport. If you have the chance go there get down ! You will not be disappointed .
