We were tired and hungry when we arrived in SF. Our hotel was near Chestnut St. and we decided to go back to Isa, a restaurant we had been to two years ago. It is not on Chestnut, so it is kind of hidden on...More

We really enjoyed the ambience and attention to detail. The sea bass and rack of lamb were superb. Highly recommend a visit!

The Service, the Food, ambiance - Everything was absolutely top nots! The variety of the menu is fantastic along with the wine menu. You get value for the price. Try the foiegras, saffron paella, or the steak. Happy Hour is great. Will be back!

We enjoyed so much the lamsrack, duck breast, steak, wine, belgian beer, semifreddo ameretto, chocolate and vanilla dessert. Isa has very good cooks! Everything is very tasteful.

We visited here on our last night in the city. Jonathan our waiter was outstanding. Even though it was busy his attention to detail was fantastic. The food was lovely and so was the wine. Great value for money.

Highly touted but I wasn't impressed. Perhaps it is better during the warmer weather when the seating at the rear isn't undercover or portable heaters. The food was hit or miss - the corn soup was very bland but the rest of the meal was...More

Handily located for the hotels along Lombard street, this is a little local jewel of a place. There is a lively, buzzy atmosphere to place with plenty of bustle. The service is good. I had a calamari starter infused with flavoursome Mediterranean herbs. The mains...More

Our waiter did a great job suggesting how we order. Many of the plates were for sharing, so we followed his plan. We order 14 delicious and well presented combinations of appetizers and main courses for seven people. These varied offerings were the right amount...More

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.
