Nice small family owned and run restaurant. The service and food was great. The food arrived quickly. They offer take out as well so you can eat on the go.

We visited this (2 adults 2 teenagers) restaurant because it was just around the corner from the hotel. Service was rapid and polite. We had the lamb shank (stifado), felafels served on a plate and a shared souvlaki plus two beers, so three plates in total. The stifado was well cooked but merely served lukewarm with a salad and poor... More

This place serves the most delicious greek food ever and is definitely one of the best I've been to while in SF, if not the best one. It's a small spot to which you don't pay attention while walking along Polk St and having your eye caught by all the people and stores around you, so it's one of those... More

We ate here on our first night in San Fransisco. We ordered the vegetarian plate to share. Great food and lots of it too! Friendly staff and atmosphere.

We ate here our first night in San Francisco. We shared one of their big plates with spanakopita, falafel, lamb, pork, cottage potatoes, Greek salad, and baklava and coffee for dessert. The salad was one of the best we have ever eaten in our lives, and everything on the plate was phenomenal! Our server was very kind, and if you... More

I had the gyro to go; flavor and size was great for $6.50. Also had small "fries". They were thin sliced chips, but were limp and oily. Best to stick with the ethnic choices... Overall, good for lunch.

Well patronised on a Monday evening and as we discovered there is an excellent reason why. The quality of the food, menu items and service was first class. Entrees are a good size and mains large and tasty. Try the vegetarian combo or kefledes, both really tasty. Service was friendly and knowledgable. Drinks menu good value as well. Enjoy!,

I took my wife to Myconos this past Saturday night for dinner. We've celebrated a number of occasions here: a 50th birthday, an 80th birthday, a couple of wedding anniversaries, etc. We have been eating here for 20+ years and have always enjoyed the food. It is consistently good, traditional Greek fare. Having grown up in Chicago, I have consumed... More

This little San Francisco gem is tucked away in the Polk area. So many people walk by it, never know exactly how good it is. All of your favorite Greek recipes and specialties hot off the grill, right from the ovens. It can often get busy and they run with limited staff so it's not the kind of place that... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
