You have never had prime rib like this. Cut off the whole rib table side, it is the juiciest you ever ate. The spinach, corn, and salad are all included. Great value for a great meal.

Excellent service and great prime rib. Simple menu is welcomed, you know you are having prime rib. I enjoyed the salad made at your table.

This is an old school restaurant that serves prime rib the way you want it. I really like the creamed spinach side dish too. Seconds available with some of the larger cuts. Need to make reservations far in advance for any times between about 5 and 10 p.

I was really looking forward to a nice dinner out while visiting the city. We booked weeks in advance but wish we had saved our money. The atmosphere was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk across the table. Just not great ambiance at all. And the food was mediocre at best. The prime rib was bland as were the... More

Went first time and was told to wait 2 hours. Made reservations the 2nd time, and still waited 45 mins part the reservation time. Perhaps their strategy to have you order drinks, which we did anyway. We all ordered the "A la Carte", as we thought the salad would be too much food. Unfortunately, it does not come in the... More

This bastion of San Francisco dining is a example of when good reviews draws a larger crowd than the building can accommodate. The food, as always, is exceptional but the noise and close proximity of tables makes the experience less desirable for groups larger than two.

By the looks of the restaurant which is quite large this remains an extremely popular spot in San Francisco. It is impressive to see the large rolling cart manned by the chef who will carve your prime rib next to the table. It is also a good value considering that there is so much included. We had Antonio service who... More

Meat aficionados can appreciate the tender, juicy, flavorful piece of meat from their first bite. The meat served here is a corn-fed beef, aged for 21 days and just seems to melt in your mouth. This institution is open 7 days a week and always a full house. A must try experience!

Best Prime Rib I've ever had and I thought it was reasonably priced! The menu is very straight forward - different sizes of prime rib and they all come with the same sides (aside from potato choices). Simple but delicious! Now, as for getting in here - make reservations in advance! We came over the 4th of July weekend and... More

Best Prime Rib place in the Bay Area, maybe even in the USA. Always superb in taste and tenderness. Outstanding and friendly service.

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
