Great breakfast, lots of comfort food and personality. Open 24 hours. Historic building, small space and old diner style. French toast was terrific ... everyone in my group had an excellent meal. Staff was very welcoming, attentive and friendly .... warmly inviting us to return soon (might have been the owner.) Service was timely and orders were accurate. My only... More

Went for breakfast on a Thursday and had no problem getting a table even though it is a smaller venue. Service was friendly and food was amply portioned. I like that it was open 24 hours and will keep it in mind for future visits.

Deliciously unhealthy breakfast and lunches! The french toast is amazing! Very friendly staff (most of the time, the older guy can be a bit of a grump). All in all though, I love this place!

Restaurant was packed so I knew it would be good. Sure enough I had the best burger and fries in a long time. Service was extremely friendly and fast. Would go back over and over again.

Great breakfast fare. From all kinds of omelettes, to delicious pancakes to gravy and biscuits. Always friendly and a lot of personality in the service. Wonderful dinner food and the experience. An SF must.

It is a must! We went to look for a place to have breakfast and found Orphan Andy's and couldn't have asked for better! The staff is very very helpful and nice, the food is incredible and very affordable in such an expensive city. The decoration is amazing and it takes you to another time. It is like living a... Where do I start. Sticky floors as we walked in. The guy behind the counter was more interested in what was on his cell phone than even greeting us. How about seasoning the food. The menu described the food one way, but it did not turn out that way. Everything was bland and overpriced.

We stopped into Orphan Andy's with a friend while visiting San Francisco. The staff are friendly. Two of us had the veggie burgers - wonderful - and the third member of our party had grilled cheese - great bread. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend that you stop in and... More

We are boomers who love our eggs and coffee breakfasts. Found this by asking a local and then ate breakfast here each day we were in this area. Even though my niece recommended another place that caters for non-breakfast eaters like juicers, we stuck to our instinct and were not sorry. Hearty portions with refills of coffee and friendly service.... More
