Stopped by for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon. They still had a wait! But it was worth it. Crab cakes, prawn cocktail and clam chowder were all tasty and fresh as heck. I'd totally go back here.

This small eatery has a wonderful selection of fresh seafood. The ciappinno is enough for two. The crab cakes are very nice. The place is small & crowded but that is part of the experience here. Most times singles are seated at the counter.

Consistently popular seafood dishes at this neighborhood favorite. I love dropping in for fresh local and west coast oysters and a cold glass of bubbly. Charming little hole in the wall, always full of happy customers. Come when it opens to get a seat at the window!

The menu is limited but tasty. The rotating specials are usually good. The menu is fairly simple and well prepared, they rely on freshness and preparation that brings out the natural flavors of the food. Go early or be prepared to wait in line, no reservations. The staff is friendly and helpful!

With no reservation we moved to that restaurant/bistrot with a bit of concern (the night before we had to wait 1h and a half to get the table in a well-known old fashioned place....). But since the arrival we were encouraged by a warm welcome, an offer of a cup of soup and just less then 20 min of waiting... More

This is a landmark seafood favorite in the heart of the Castro district. It's been a favorite of tourists and locals alike for many years, and the seafood is famously fresh, but there is a definite disconnect between the quaint diner atmosphere and the high prices.

The food is consistently good at this little hole in the wall restaurant where you'll often find a line. My favorite is the clam chowder, made from scratch. If you want to try an old time and local favorite hangout, this is your place.

Everything's great at this restaurant but my favorite is the dungeoness crab melt sandwich!! You have to try the oysters and a nice cold brew!

I love the crab and prawn salad as my favorite but if I don't get that the special of the day are always great. Everything is so fresh like it jumped out of the sea onto my plate. Only down side is the wait at times can be frustrating depending on what time of day you go. Good for couples... More

A small, truly SF neighborhood place, with great food. They focus on what they do well - seafood. It is small, but worth a wait!
