This is probably one of the best Nepalese restaurants i've encountered so far. Had a kukhurado ledo (Nepalese chicken curry) combo; the main dish was delicately flavorful and balanced. The dal and chutney were just right, nan had a bit too much oil for my taste. Attentive, friendly yet non-pushy service. Reasonable prices.

I just ate dinner at Little Nepal and I'm totally blown away. Little Nepal is the first Nepalese restaurant in San Francisco, and they set the bar really high! The venue has the best decor and offers a peaceful vibe. We ordered the Himalayan Momo as an appetizer, it was good, very much like Chinese pot stickers. I ordered the... More

One of the best Nepalese foods I have had in the states. Everything we ordered (chicken curry, lentils , fish and rayo ko saag) were delicious. HIghly recommended if you are in the area.

This little and cozy restaurant is located near the Bernal Heights. The staff is very friendly and the food was just delicious! Order the Combo and you get lentils, naan bread, basmati rice and vegetables as side dish! It is definitely worth to visit this place.

I'm wasn't amazed, but I wasn't disappointed. Food was fresh and tasty. Side dishes could have been a bit warmer, but entrees were quite good. Dining room is well appointed and bathroom is clean. Service was good. Street parking at 6pm was easy and safe.

This was such an amazing experience: from the service, to the flavors and my lamb.... tender and spiced perfectly, not at all fatty like I am used to. If I lived in San Francisco, I would come here weekly.

Cool place really good food. The food was really really good, service is friendly. Those are the main point, the location not so sure. It is not a bad neighborhood it's just not a popular place.

While visiting San Fran, my daughter recommended this place to us and we tried it. We had the traditional Nepal food for two and liked it very much. The service was also good and the price was surely reasonable. Will go back the next time I am in the area.

People who like Indian food will probably like Little Nepal as well. Nepalese cuisine is clearly South Asian. But it is also different enough from North Indian cuisine to make it distinct. There seems to be less heat in the spice, but at least as much flavor in the food. The variety of dishes is adequate, if not amazing. Everything... More
