We were headed to Burma Superstar and my husband decided to ask an Asian grocer for his recommendation! Ended up here and will be back. Shared the Tom Yom soup. Beautiful with fresh mushrooms bobbing in the medium spicy broth. Ginger fish with veggies was also good. Lots of locals. And looked like repeat diners. Good recommendation

This review is for the King of Thai Cuisine #2 on Clement St. & 5th Avenue. Went there for lunch with 2 other friends. Was there at about 1:00 p.m. and did not have to wait for a table. Decent, if not memorable Thai cuisine. We came here when a restaurant across the street that we wanted to go to had a super long wait. As you walk in, the toppings are laid out at the front counter. Friendly Thai staff seat you and helo yo decide on your choice. My beef noodles were amazing. Good luck figuring the names out online. These are owned by the same owner? Anyhoo I really wanted to like these guys because hey late night Thai food yeah I want that. When I worked night shift, this was the only restaurant that was open til 2:00am. We would send a runner to pick up meals for everyone. Today, I just go for a treat if I have cravings for Thai food. We were planning to go to Burma superstar across the road which is excellent but there was a 60 minute wait. Across the street we found king of Thai moderately busy but excellent in every way on the food choices. Ranked High. Quality very good Would return yes Staff friendly Prices very reasonable
