A great place to meet friends!

Had lunch at Cha-Cha-Cha. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by a cool atmosphere and most delicious food. A highlight of my day in the Haight. It will NOT disappoint.

Stroll along San Fran’s culturally iconic Haight Street, and you will stumble upon this eccentric hole in the wall on the corner Shrader Street. Head here for dinner and make sure to order a pitcher of Sangria. When I went I asked the waitress to recommend the best tapas – and boy am I glad I did. We got the... More

The food was good... nothing earth shattering. We had the chicken wings, mussels, potatoes, and the plantains. All the food came out really fast and everything was reasonably priced. I loved the potted trees throughout the restaurant- very fun.

I have been going to Cha Cha Cha for many years. The food is always tasty and consistent. I love to eat from the tapas menu and love the potatoes, the chicken paillard, and most everything else I have tried. You won't be disappointed and if you have to wait for a table you'll be pleasantly surprised and grateful that... More

Very dark and ominous atmosphere. Also really loud. Service was okay - nothing was done wrong just so loud we had to repeat ourselves a lot. No one's fault. Great food and the sangria is amazing! Definitely make a reservation!

We had late lunch at Cha Cha Cha on a Tuesday. Few others were dining. The four of us can't complain about the service. Two of us ordered the paella (not on menu). I was hungry (fresh off a five hour flight) and it was good. Not great. The sangria was very good and the fruit was the best part.

I went there alone, and tried to sit down to a free table, while 2 from 10 tables were taken. The waitress didnt let me to sit there because it was meant to be for more people (6), so I had to sit alone at the door, where the table was good for 5 people. I hadnt have to travel... More

I really loved this Caribbean/South American restaurant. Great freshly prepared food in atmospheric surroundings....all washed down with lashings of sangria. All 4 in our group loved their food and would happily recommend Cha Cha Cha to everyone. Gets busy so be prepared to turn up and wait, but well worth it !! Great place.

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
Haight-Ashbury
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
