Read this was a great place to eat in Haight & Ashbury area. Ate here for lunch. Very short wait. We ordered sangria which was strong and very tasty! For lunch we ordered the Chicken Polliard which was delicious! We dipped the bread in the Dijon sauce. We also ordered the BBQ pork quesadillas which were very good as well.... More

I confess my opinion got a vies... I was with a cousin of mine I haven't seen a long time and it was wonderful to meet her and her husband. The place is really cool and got a great food. We try some tapas and it was great! The people over there are great!

We had a myriad of tapas at this little spot, and all of them were really quite good. We specifically liked the red beans and rice, empanadas, and plantains. The fresh lemonade and sangria were also really good.

We went to cha cha cha for lunch and the food we had was sooo tasty. Had one of our best guacamole and tortilla chips ever!

The place was busy when we got there but had a line out the door when we left. We ended up sitting at the bar which I enjoyed although my friends would rather be at a table. Music was really chill. Bartender was pleasant. I didn't like my meal that much but was very pleased with the sangria! I will... More

So incredibly tasty! The sangria is perfect, the plantains melt in your mouth and the happy hour specials are a ton of food at a reasonable cost. Definitely worth the stop. Stroll through the park and then get there early (they opened for dinner at 5 and only had one table left open by 5:10)

We sampled ceviche, enchiladas, wings, and other things, with their house sangria pitcher. After a long wait to get a table (no reservations, first come first served, and limited in size) service was fast, and food was generous and tasty. People who know both Cha Cha Cha's tell us this one is the one to visit.

Overall food is good. We took tapas and nothing to say but the price a bit high for what it is. In addition, room is a bit too dark, musicien a bit too loud, service a bit too slow, not fully corresponding to what we have ordered, even some orders were missing. The bill didn’t correspond to what we have... More

Funky place in a funky neighborhood. Happy hour had small buy yummy menu and their sangria is very good. Great atmosphere for a night out with friends, would be something you find in Barcelona.

Exceptional. The variety of food options was amazing. I highly recommend going with several people to try the many different dishes. The portions are ample. The food was absolutely wonderful. I love that bread is served so one can sop up the delicious sauces left from the food. It was definitely one of the best meals I've had in a... More

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
