We went to the Citrus Club in family and the food was very good. We started with the Vietnamese Spring Roll that was delicious. For the entree we all had soup with rice noodles which was spicy at the right point. After dinner we were not feeling cold anymore. The service was quick and courteous. We tried local beer -... It's a hole in the wall, but we were craving noodle soup. The spring rolls were excellent and fresh. The chicken noodle soup was very good, but didn't hold a candle to the vegetarian hot and sour noodle soup. It was just the right amount of heat and tang. Loaded chock full of veggies. Huge portions, none of us could... More

All I ate was the strip roll and it was the best I ever had. The waitress was adequate and the ambience is fair but the roll was filling and wonderful.

Ok, yes we know in the [?recent] past there was a health warning about this place. But we tried it anyhow. We had the [rice paper] vegetable rolls and each had the Sa Choy vegetables/noodles dish (first one on the menu). The rolls were very good and the noodle dish was rocking. Usually you get too much salt in a... More

This a cool place serving up delicious noodle dishes and other asian classics. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. The soup portions are gigantic!

Will go again next time we are in town - fabulous edamame (with garlic sauce) that I will be craving quite a bit as it was so fresh and tasty! Awesome noodle bowl as well, all so cheap!

We had almost forgot that we had a dinner here on our vaccation. I guess that says it all. Thinking back, we have no complaints but nothing special.

We stopped here for lunch after playing on Golden Gate park and it was fantastic. The garlic edamame were off the hook - I could've eaten a pound by myself! I had the coconut lemongrass shrimp noodle bowl and it was like Asian Alfredo...so creamy and delicious. My husband had the Shanghai noodles and the mushrooms were so sweet and... More

Popped in midday and ordered a bunch of apps and noodles. Really good stuff! Homemade peanut sauces skew gingery, so be open to that. The garlic edamame is fantastic, and avocado spring rolls rock!

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
