We just had dinner last night at the citrus club in upper height. They have giant bowls of yummy soups and wok toss too. My girlfriend had the sweet & sour soup looked great the bowls are very big. I got the Burmese coconut chicken which is not a soup and it was delicious! Very inexpensive restaurant for what you... More

A really relaxed, seated and take away noodle bar, conveniently located next to the park. Food was excellent and prices were very reasonable. Recommended!

I was with my son-in-law. It was late and were looking for something lite. Someone recommended the Citrus Club and it was great. The service friendly and the portions large. I had the Chicken Pho and it was super. The chicken clearly made in house from scratch and tender and the broth and noodles terrific. They had sold out of... More

We went to the Citrus Club in family and the food was very good. We started with the Vietnamese Spring Roll that was delicious. For the entree we all had soup with rice noodles which was spicy at the right point. After dinner we were not feeling cold anymore. The service was quick and courteous. We tried local beer -... It's a hole in the wall, but we were craving noodle soup. The spring rolls were excellent and fresh. The chicken noodle soup was very good, but didn't hold a candle to the vegetarian hot and sour noodle soup. It was just the right amount of heat and tang. Loaded chock full of veggies. Huge portions, none of us could... More

All I ate was the strip roll and it was the best I ever had. The waitress was adequate and the ambience is fair but the roll was filling and wonderful.

Ok, yes we know in the [?recent] past there was a health warning about this place. But we tried it anyhow. We had the [rice paper] vegetable rolls and each had the Sa Choy vegetables/noodles dish (first one on the menu). The rolls were very good and the noodle dish was rocking. Usually you get too much salt in a... More

This a cool place serving up delicious noodle dishes and other asian classics. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. The soup portions are gigantic!

Will go again next time we are in town - fabulous edamame (with garlic sauce) that I will be craving quite a bit as it was so fresh and tasty! Awesome noodle bowl as well, all so cheap!

Staying in Haight-Ashbury

Neighborhood Profile
Haight-Ashbury
The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops. While the Summer of Love ended decades ago, Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through its streets can still feel like stepping back in time. A must-see neighborhood for most music fans, it’s easy to see why these streets attracted the likes of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin. You’ll likely be content in The Haight day or night, just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
