So good! Waited almost an hour but it was worth it! (props to the hostess who handled the impatient crowd of waiting customers very well) Put your name in and they'll text you when ready.. Smaller restaurant with limited seating. Super efficient friendly and knowledgeable staff ( they will help you with selections and suggestions and explain dishes when they... More

Friendly efficient wait system that will text you when your table is ready. We were able to wonder round and shop for the 35 minute wait. Even that was fun. Menu is compact so making decisions are easy. Try the tea leaf salad which is mixed at the table. The green beans were phenom as was the house special pork... More

They do things with vegetables that boggle my mind. Never have I ever had an all vegetarian meal and loved it as much as I did at Burma Superstar. The flavors and textures of everything was phenomenal. Ordered the tea leaf salad (seriously featuring fermented tea leaves)...it was phenomenal. The lettuce cups were also awesome. For fun, we went all... More

I usually hate to wait more than 20 min anywhere!!! But believe me this place was worth the 21 min wait! We went there with a friend who is from Burma and he did all the ordering. And OMG it was amazing.... The flavor kept growing and growing more delicious with every bite..... I say go with some friends and... More

Though the spiciness is toned down, the layers of flavors sing through. We told a 45 minute wait for dinner so off we went to explore the neighboring stores. A text came 30 minutes later and we sat down with great anticipation, having heard from friends how wonderful the food is. The Rainbow Salad was tasty but could have used... More

We ate here for lunch, as dinner always has a long line to get a table. The long line exists for a good reason. The food is to die for. Seriously some of the best food of it's kind that we have tasted anywhere. I highly recommend the vegetarian samosa soup and the tea leaf salad. Both are just about... More

We were staying in the Inner Clement neighborhood during our recent stay in San Francisco and our Airbnb host recommended this place. The food is sublime, kind of a cross between Thai and Chinese. The Sesame Chicken was fantastic. Be sure to be there waiting when they open at 5pm because there will be a very long line.

Burma Superstar is a medium-sized restaurant with long waits and difficult parking. There are a few locations throughout the Bay Area. To get the full experience, it is best to share the dishes family style. The staff is friendly but it is difficult to get their attention since the restaurant is so busy. If you cannot wait walk down half... More

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. Was asked to come back in 30 mins as the restaurant was full. Not a big restaurant. The wait was worth it. Food was fantastic. Cooked well and very tasty. Prices are reasonable. Service was good
