Location and contact

A hidden gem, Leatherneck Steakhouse is located on the 12th floor of the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel. The restaurant serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday nights with live piano music in a very romantic ambiance with candlelight and a stunning view of downtown San Francisco and Union Square. The food is gourmet contemporary American cuisine with a good offering of steaks and seafood and at least one vegetarian alternative. Sides and desserts are amazing. There is an extensive wine list and a full bar.

The views are great, the entrees were good, but I wouldn't go back. Our server was terrible and ruined the entire evening.

The food is really disappointing for the price I paid. The grilled salmon tasted like something I can cook myself. And the steak is so hard. Service was bad.

Casual dress is fine. Collared shirts for men. Slacks. Dress or pants for women. Why not call or email the Marines Memorial Club to confirm
