I've been to probably 15 HRCs over the years, this, alas, is the worst. The service was poor, you couldn't get a server when you wanted one. Also, our mains arrived very soon after our starters. The food was quite cold and of average to poor standard. One to avoid in my view, especially with so many good restaurants in... More

I have been to a few Hard Rock cafes, this one is the worst. It wasn't overly busy but we were made to feel like an inconvenience. There was lots of staff rushing round but to be honest I couldn't see where to. I asked for ketchup at the start of my meal, our waiter brought it to me as... More

This is the second time I have been to this Hard Rock. The second visit was no different than the first. Poor service by the waitress was what I will remember the most. Failure to check back for refills or to check on how the meal never occurred. Food was luke warm at best and pretty bland. I had the... More

If you've been to one Hard Rock, you've been to them all. This isn't a criticism, If you like the Hard Rock formula you will be on familiar ground and be very happy. Everything was up to the usual high standard that you expect from this brand. Good food, reasonable prices, excellent service. We loved it and would go back... More

Our destination this evening was the Hard Rock Cafe in San Francisco. We went to Pier 39 for the sole purpose of eating at this restaurant. We waited 40 minutes for a table which was fine as that was what we were quoted. Our server greeted us saying that our official server was in break so he would take care... More

The food, service and atmosphere was all very average. We ended up eating here as we were so hungry but wish we had taken a little extra time to find something better.

Always look forward to visiting a Hard Rock Cafe. Was not disappointed. Attentive friendly staff, good food. We had burgers and cob salad. A bit expensive, but great atmosphere and decor. Perfect for family with teens. Worth treating yourselves.

Description
Though primarily founded during the Gold Rush, San Francisco really made a name for itself in the turbulent 60's. Political protests, the infamous "summer of love" and of course, the ground-breaking music scene all marked San Francisco as an important and pivotal locale for culture. And take it from us—this city with a past still makes the scene, today. Whether we're talking foot-stomping live music or another 6.5 on the Richter, San Francisco truly rocks! Back in the day hippies used to congregate at Haight-Ashbury, but these days the rockinest spot is the Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco. Where else can you eat the tastiest burger in town, trippin' out on groovy rock artifacts and treasures, while jamming to the most outta sight tunes? Our mind-blowing memorabilia collection featuring great locals is far out, man! Grateful Dead, Faith No More, Jefferson Airplane, Journey, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Vince Guaraldi… these are just a few of the local bands that made it big. Now you can get in on big action yourself with the Cafe that's rocking San Francisco! Here at Pier 39 we've got fab views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, the San Francisco Bay, and the City skyline, not to mention more than 110 stores, 11 full-service restaurants, and numerous fun-filled attractions. You can find the 45-acre, Pier 39 complex two blocks east of Fisherman's Wharf at Beach Street and The Embarcadero. So if you're going to San Francisco, be sure to stop by the Hard Rock Cafe.
