My husband and I met our friend at this restaurant based on her recommendation. For a Monday night this place was full which meant that it was noisy. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our friend ordered for us and we shared everything. What ordered was well prepared and delicious: tuna cerviche, red snapper cerviche, grilled octopus, the rotisserie... More

This was a first time we had tried Peruvian cuisine and our waitress was very good in explaining the various dishes and options. The place is very popular and there is a real buzz to the place without it being too loud that you can’t talk/listen to the people at you table. The chicken we had was moist & succulent... More

Boyfriend and I just came from the SF Earth Day Festival this past weekend (between Mission and Valencia) and decided to swing by Limon Rotisserie. I was craving for a Pisco sour and this is the place to order it since it's a Peruvian restaurant. Since we were not so hungry, we ordered the octopus appetizer. This dish is seasoned... More

Limon has quickly become my go-to for great food, reasonable price, and lively atmosphere. Highly recommend ordering family style and going with the whole chicken with sides, lomo saltado, and sangria.

We went for a 4:30 dinner and we're seated immediately. No rising us in and out. We had Peruvian beer, shared a fantastic red snapper and shrimp appetizer, half chicken and dessert. All this for less than $70.00.

First of all, make certain you are going to the right one of these--I looked up the address on Google beause we were meeting a friend there later. It said it was on South Van Ness. Well, I'm still not sure if that's open but we ended up at the one on Valencia...it's a kind of scary area...we were early... More

Limon is becoming a favorite among the people in our household, and so I looked forward to going there for my 1st experience of modern Peruvian food. Every dish was great, the tastes fresh and flavorful, with amazing seasonings. Our party started with terrific cocktails, then shared Tuna Tartar, Leche Tigre (seafood ceviche), Ensalada Rusa (beet & potato salad), Chicken... More

Made a reservation through opentable and came here for dinner with a friend of mine. I've been to the other Limon on Van Ness so was looking forward to trying this one. Waited only about 10 minutes to be seated, staff very nice. Ordered a lot of food, all delicious. Highlights were the half chicken, lomo saltado. Also had the... More

We called into the Valencia and 16th branch of these restaurants for my first taste of Peruvian cuisine. A very friendly welcome was given followed by some amazing pisco sours cocktails. We were a party of five and hadn't booked but were seated quickly and well attended by the staff. We found the staff to be super organised and very... More

The cab driver told me to order the grilled chicken - scrupmptious with excellent sides - appeared to be Indian. Wonderful choice of sauces included - prompt service, genteel, cordial and knowledgeable servers and waitstaff. This area has been given a good deal of redevelopment - could not believe where I was it has changed so much over the years.... More
