Arrived at 5:15 PM with reservation, Immediate seating in a quiet area next to fire place. Waiter was prompt, attentive, and engaging. Food was excellent with moderate portions. House Cab very good. Food was a bit pricey... but it is San Francisco and was worth it. Sadly, we heard Kuleto's is closing the end of December to "Go another direction".... More
Seven of us went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The waiter did some odd things, like perching all our drinks on the very edge of the table. Since we were chatting, I almost knocked someone's wine off the table. The pizzetta appetizer was quite good. It boded well. I had the Wagyu burger medium rare, very beefy taste, perfectly... More
Walked by many times liking the interior design looking into it. 1st time inside: The hostess took effort to find a seating despite Friday evening and being booked, the starters and main courses pleased the taste beyond the expectation. Just the waiters were a bit stressed, and more capacity would have been of advantage. Worth to come back!
I come here quite a bit and they never disappoint. I sit at the food bar and the chefs and waiters give fabulous service. The chef, Alfredo, let me try one of the dishes I inquired about. And Mike, the waiter, was very attentive and gave great service. They've updated the menu room for the better. Great restaurant in Union... More
I wish I could give zero stars. The place was almost empty but it took us 1/2 hour to get our drinks. The margarita was undrinkable and the beers were flat. The server was clueless when we asked questions about the menu. We decided that this situation was only going to get worse. We expressed our frustrations as we left, but the... More
Really enjoyed the Linguine with Clams. Generous number of Manilla clams sprinkled with parsley in a very flavorful white wine sauce. The saltiness of the diced pancetta was a nice addition to the classic dish. Flavorful sauce was nice for dipping bread, too!
We have been dining at Kuletos for years. While it is noisy and busy, it is somewhat old school and you can get a quiet table. We had quick efficient service, good food at a reasonable price for SF, one of the better Caesar salads in a while, and it is adjacent to Union Square. It did not disappoint and... More
Food was good. Server was very polite but service was a bit slow...drinks arrived after starter & ice bucket for wine never arrived. Wine was overpriced also. But seafood was fresh & tasty, seating & food service was efficient, only drinks were slow & overpriced.

To Whom It May Concern: I am trying to set up lunch for some friends that I am taking to see "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" at A C T on Sunday December 6th. The show is early (around 5 o'clock), and I would like to be able to make a reservation for your advertised lunch special of three selected courses for $22.95 for around two o'clock so that we can also tour Union Square before heading for the theater. I have eaten at you lovely restaurant on several occasions and have always loved it. Please contact me as soon as possible so that I may make the arrangements. Thank you in advance. Richard E. Kaye
