Yes, we braved the chilly morning and waiting in line for 50 minutes. The food was amazing. Everything we ordered (from our coffee to Mimosas to pancakes) was perfectly prepared.

Terrific creative brunch but be warned - you will wait about an hour if you arrive around 10-11 on a Saturday which is when we visited - and the line is outside in an area of the city that's not too pretty. Other than that, once you get inside try to convince your group to share a few dishes because... More

We came here because of the great reviews. Waiting on line around the corner from the entrance I started doubting our decision. I felt like I was in a walking dead episode with some interesting people walking by. But then we got inside and saw the specials. We had the prohibition whiskey blueberry muffin. Out of this world! Big enough... More

Great breakfast .It is expensive but well worth it.Had combination plater the pancakes are great . I don't want to spoil the surprise but ask your waiter or waitress about the history of this place it certainly has a colorful past that will leave you talking about it for years. Enjoy!

There is usually a line that stretches around the corner of techies and office workers. The line is long because it is worth the wait.

I was in San Fran for less than 2 days for business and a friend highly recommended this place. I went very early just before they opened (as I was told to do, there could be long lines). I'm so happy I stopped in here. Food was awesome, atmosphere was awesome and so was the service.

Big portions, super nice brownies. Apart from that, too long queue for a table for more than 3 people. We were 5. Plenty of couple tables though. Food ok, but similar to other breakfast places.

It was an interesting adventure to get to Dottie's, but the hike was worth it. Incredible food and the service was impeccable. Very highly recommended.

Tipical American breakfast. Delicious pancakes, french toast and eggs. The worst is the long wait for a table, but worth it.

We were lucky to get seated relatively quickly as we split int two pairs. The coffe and food was good. The atmosphere was pleasant. Will go back when in SF.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
