We visited from South Carolina and ate here twice in 2 days!! The dry wings were out of this world and we are already craving them again! The dumplings were heavenly and the service was fantastic-they treated us just like a local, not the very out of place southern hillbillies that we felt like licking that wing sauce off our... More

We were in San Francisco on vacation and staying in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, so we wanted to find some great local food. This place was a real highlight of our trip. The doors open at 5:00 p.m., and people were lining up before they even opened. Once inside, we were quickly seated and treated to complimentary kimchi, which was... More

Wings..."these are a few of my favorite things". And San Tung hooks up a very nice version! Way better than the usual over coated and sauced versions elsewhere. Gigantic Dumplings are big bold and brimming with flavor. Noodles were decent too. Not sure how to avoid the wait just yet but I am guessing early or late are your best... More

You know you're at a good Chinese restaurant is there are mostly Chinese people there. The food was fantastic, the space was unappealing, and it was located slightly off the beaten path of Chinatown. Not a tourist trap. Good food and good prices.

I ordered ma po tofu. It was quite oily. Price was on the higher side. Their complimentary kimchi was good. Line was too long so we decided to take out instead.

Drove 20 minutes to try the chicken that was recommended by friends and was definitely worth it! Flavor was delicious with the perfect amount of crunch to it. Went when they were closing and the staff was nice enough to let us through. Definitely a winner in my books!

Good Chinese restaurant. I liked their walnut shrimp and special fried chicken wings with crispy lightly sweetened batter. Waiters are very polite and prompt. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is very noisy, drafty and crowded.

The dry-fried glazed chicken wings are spicy, sweet and addictive at this Inner Sunset, San Francisco no frills spot. There’s also a wide selection of noodle dishes to choose from and the portions are generous. Go with a group to share and sample a variety of dishes.

We had a hour long wait, but the chicken wings were definitely worth it! We also had the green beans and dumplings. All were delicious! The place was a little loud and crazy but that was part of the fun!

This place is always packed... a good indicator of how good their food is. Their specialty, the chicken wings, are fantastic. They also have some Chinese dishes popular with Koreans (which I am) -- black bean noodles, sweet and sour pork/beef, jjampong (spicy, mixed seafood/meat soup noodles). We try to make multiple trips to this place whenever we visit SF.
