We tend to go when we have a large group. The service has always been great and food isn't bad. Feel it is just nothing to write home about either. Had calamari and Ahi Nachos appetizers, the calamari was a bit chewy and the ahi nachos had the unagi sauce which mad everything too sweet for my taste. they were... More

We stopped in before the game for breakfast. Great location right in front of AT&T Park. Good food and service! Will try the Ahi Nachos next time, they kept going by and looked delicious!!

Went here for a beer and early dinner before a game. Great location right across from the Ball Park with terrific people watching. Felt the food was OK at best and not a good value for the price. I will say, the burger (which we didn't order) looked great as did Calamari as they passed towards other tables. I ate... More

After recent SF GIANTS game we decided to go for some wine and appetizers at Momo's. Great energy in this place. Loved sitting outside and watching the GIANTS fans pour in. Also appetizers were great, good wine selection and great service!

Most of the appetizers were fantastic BUT the shrimp cocktail! There was no cocktail party here. Seriously 4 jumbo shrimps DOES not resonate with the type of appetizers that matches the rest of the menu must. See exhibit A! But still, it's super before the race.

We visited Momo's before a baseball game in July. It was a Saturday and the place was hopping (hint: reserve on open table and skip the wait). We were stuck at the table and no one came by for at least 20 mins. Meanwhile 2 additional tables were sat next to us, and their waiters came and came back with... More

The food here is excellent. I've had the Thai steak salad, mac and cheese, tuna tartar appetizer and several entrees. I always come here before a game. Great people. Service is pretty good too, they know you want to be in and out. Vibrant bar scene. Make reservations on game day!

Located directly across from AT&T Park (home to the San Francisco Giant's), Momo's is the quintessential pre-game hang out. Ordering a hum baby from the satellite bar* on the deck on game days is a must before going into the park. *Closes 15 minutes after the start of the game.

We stopped there after a ball game to have light bite, I had the mussels and fries and they were delicious, my husband had the chicken wings and we both had cocktails, very enjoyable and great service .

We had lunch here. We stopped to look at the menu to see if there were any vegan options for my daughter. The host told us there wasn't really anything on the menu, but they would whip something up for her. The chef made her a delicious veggie and rice dish with an olive tapenade. I had the chicken pear... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
